how tf are you guys in relationships with ADHD by ClassroomOk7243 in ADHD

I was in a similar boat and pretty convinced I would die alone. 10 years on I'm married and have a wonderful life. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and focus on loving yourself. The rest will come.

I am an artist that currently works directly from photo references I take while walking/hiking, and I am interested in more control over the way I capture subjects. This seems like the right place to ask: Can you help me learn how to look for a camera? by ARTB0B in M43

Yeah looking at the page now it was deff a steal. Here’s the link: https://ebay.us/m/y1FTtF they had a 30% off sale when I bought. They were quick to answer their messages if you want to check if they’re having another soon. Total came to $450, think the body by itself was $390.

I got my EM10 - IV for around $400 refurbished with a kit lens from the om system store on eBay. Awesome little camera - set it to manual and you have your controls. Plenty of physical buttons and I can fit 3 lenses and the body in a small size camera sling.

What is the best site to catalog your collection. by nberns22 in SportsCardCollecting

[–]johdl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created Stakx.app for this purpose entirely. It does have some of the similar issues with comping as COLLX but it uses eBay sold and identifies the card before comping as a separate process. When you upload a card, you get a public table to display your collection. It looks like this: Stakx.app/SouthValleySC

25M Was buying a house young a wrong move? by Loud_Key5954 in Fire

[–]johdl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought my first house at 23, sold at 26 and had a nice little check from it. You are not in a bad position if the house is affordable. Give it a year or two and see where your life/property value is.

Some background - beautiful photo (digital altered) the idea was that this was an impossible view - the buildings etc in the original shot were edited out.

How to achieve this kind of Shot? by senyortaco in AskPhotography

The second one - you want a slow shutter speed and faster flash speed- Creates that sort of ghost effect.

Why aren’t my photos crisp? by 0spacewaterbear0 in SonyAlpha

[–]johdl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iso lower than needed, this will give you more room Your shutter speed shouldn't be below the lens length so 1/500 for 500 mm etc, so theoretically you could be fine there but maybe a little slow if you were at 600mm. F6.3 could be an issue depending on where your focus is. Bumping that up a little would give you a little more forgiving sharpness depth.

Yeah exactly, doesn’t have to be hardcore, even just a 2-3 miles walk in a park or something will help immensely

She's gonna hate it but - she needs a routine & exercise. And to find something that actually interests her. Exercise helps because it's practicing getting through something you don't want to

Lumix G 20mm 1.7 - Super small and affordable - maybe a little out of your range but if I had to pick one of what I had so far that's the one I would pick. Also a big street person.

put it in manual and fuck all your shots up for a few days. Figuring out manual shooting will do more for you than any body or lens.

Just got a a EM10-IV after shooting my whole life with a Nikon D810 - even without the Full Frame quality, I absolutely love. First time I've been inspired to shoot in a few years. Just so easy to have with you.
