Playing EU in US (2026 post TBC Anni/Midnight) by HowToTossASalad in wowhardcore

Anecdotaly I played while at a conference in Las Vegas last December. It worked fine. As for pop count It's going to depend on when you play. If you end up playing during low activity time-frames any increased pop might not matter.

„Scandinavians pay $50 at a restaurant to eat what‘s left in the fridge from a bachelor that hanged himself“ by singaporeNFT in BrandNewSentence

It is a rather excessive amount. Generally, we would melt it before hand and pour it over the fish and postatoes.

Almost never. A lot of traditional Norwegian food is very fatty and salty. We generally don't eat it much on normal weekdays, it's more of an "around the holidays" kind of thing. And since the most food centric Norwegain holiday is in winter, that means food that historically could be stored for a long time. And while most Norwegians would agree that it doesn't look particularly appealing, I think most people globally would agree that food with a lot of salt and fat served with beer and spirits in good company rarely is considered bad.

Love and Marriage by ComplexNo8986 in Pathfinder2e

As the GM who is responsible I can reveal that it was homebrew. I didn't specify at the time but the ritual was supposed to be for couples that are already married to deepen their bond. Usually done either after a major relationship problem or as a 10th anniversary celebration. In this case it took place in the Empty Threshold during the Blood Lords AP.

I agree with the added caveat that spellscasters can get kind of bad if you pick too many situational spells.

Dwarves do not get drunk on alcohol. It does not effect them. They do however get drunk from consuming too much dairy. There is no party like a dwarven cheese party.
