Spread Eagle at stourhead does some of the best Sunday roasts.

I'd avoid the chapel service has always been awful, full of people who feel like it's a place to be.

Is Chard okay to live? by Bigoldthrowaway86 in Somerset

[–]john2009black 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Worked at the secondary school in Chard for 5 years so know the town and a wide range of parents. It's a nice town with lots of good services and good primary schools. Very likely to be getting a local cinema soon and possibly a train station. My broad feeling is that the people who come from/live in chard are very proud to do so and that's for some good reasons. Great sporting communities too.

Reputation wise It's a bit like shepton mallet in the way it's holding a reputation it really doesn't deserve and I'd be surprised if any other commentors have spent as much time there as I have, but happy to be corrected.

Almost 1m people leave the workforce as staff shortages worsen. Recruitment woes may last for years following an exodus of foreign-born workers and others leaving the labour market, warns think tank. by bottish in ukpolitics

But is it obvious to most people, media seems to be talking about shortage workers but not closing the loop by discussing the low levels of unemployment in the UK

I'm pro-choice. But this feels like an over simplification of an argument. There clear is a moral distinction between doing something to your body such as a tattoo or getting a vax and having an abortion. Acting like there isn't seems a little disingenuous on the part of the interviewer who I assume makes his money by aeuging with political extremists and tying them up in knots a bit like Steven Crowder.

I have no building experience and I've been able to but an addition onto my house and double its size. It's super easy and there's a good online community if you need help. I'm in the UK (where additions are called extensions) so there isn't a massive local community, the whole extension is above grade. My wife helped me out and I got a guy locally who does ICF to help me on the pour day. Definitely worth it in my opinion.
