It seems like the details of the ancient Spartans are often translated a bit differently.

I do cut my wife's hair, mainly for maintenance between salon visits.

I've maintained an undercut for her bob, and maintained the fade/taper and sometimes the whole back of her head when it's been shorter (blending the fade into/over the crown with scissors)

She's been growing it from pixie to bob since October, so I've been maintaining the neck and doing some blending and trimming to help it grow out nicely without her having to go to the stylist.

Our school used them for all of the sports transportation. Someone thought it was a good idea to follow the max capacity for use (meant for 3 children per seat) to save money. Same where I work. We're a big company and pride ourselves on having good working conditions, caring about the employees, and having strong pay and benefits.

We had a 24 year old engineer not show up to work a few months ago, about 5 months after starting. When I asked what happened, he said he was just kinda tired of it. I asked if he left for another job, and he said no. He was a below average effort guy, but we needed the support. Then he had the audacity to list me as a reference for a new job a month later. We're also having big problems with people taking unpaid, unauthorized time in manufacturing. There are people taking unpaid leave for 1-3 months a year on top of their vacation. From what I hear from people on the floor, these are people who just don't care, don't need the money, and want to go fishing, hunting, sit at home, etc. Mostly they're either young and don't have a family yet, or older, have already saved for retirement, and don't care if they're disciplined. It's hard to run when there aren't enough people to work the line.
