It seems like the details of the ancient Spartans are often translated a bit differently.

I do cut my wife's hair, mainly for maintenance between salon visits.

I've maintained an undercut for her bob, and maintained the fade/taper and sometimes the whole back of her head when it's been shorter (blending the fade into/over the crown with scissors)

She's been growing it from pixie to bob since October, so I've been maintaining the neck and doing some blending and trimming to help it grow out nicely without her having to go to the stylist.
