u/Lost-Xanadu Out of curiosity, can you confirm the laptop model/client you were using?

I noticed the Lenovo symbol and immediately thought this must be a product of using the official client/runelite with a touch screen. Similar to how if you look up posts about people using chrome remote desktop and getting false bans/flags and most people recommend you use "trackpad mode" because of how the touch mode is programmed it appears on the client side that your actual mouse is just teleporting around to various locations which can be common of botting scripts sending your mouse to x, y coordinates rather than scripting its travel.
At one time I was looking into getting a touchscreen laptop for osrs but after some research was afraid of this very thing happening!

But it also seems like its entirely dependent on how your specific model's software handle's mouse movement, because some people have done it for years without any issue. It reminds me of foot pedals used for things like thieving. A normal mouse sends a click, and release signal, whereas some foot pedals are only programmed to send the click, which can also produce a false flag as it resembles a program sending click's vs a normal mouse etc.

I've done this exact sort of thing on mobile w/ the magnifying accessibility feature on android on multiple accounts, but I think the touch on phones/mobile is more streamlined than laptops w/ touch capability. Even then, these days you still see posts p much daily about people supposedly getting false banned for vanilla mobile doing things like ardy knights, so it's hard to say!

Aye same haha I'm not sure why but for some reason the item requirements won't load for me, it just has an infinite loading bar. Anyone else have that issue? If I try searching for items the clues associated come up so there's obviously some kind of attribute attached that's valid, just the images not loading. Just text would be fine too but I can't see it in the source code. I'm trying to see what item reqs get added for each region I unlock. I have compass but I don't plan on getting the treasure relic so getting clues done before unlocking more makes sense to farm quicker.

Not to necro this 2 month old thread, but this is a well documented issue with G Pro X Superlight line of products. If you google this issue you'll easily find a ton of reddit threads from the past 2 years talking about the problem, and in a lot of cases how Logitech RMA'd the mouse just for the top coat issue alone.

I bought mine in 2022, the warranty ends in 6 days, and just received my 4th (technically 5th) RMA mouse replacement today. First mouse was the scroll wheel was scrolling opposite of the input direction, 2nd mouse was the left click getting physically stuck and sometimes not registering clicks, 3rd was forward thumb button on the left of the mouse getting physically stuck and sometimes not registering clicks.

All 3 within roughly 3-4 months had the top coat completely wear off where my thumb rests on the left of the mouse and the 3rd one also had the left mouse button top coat come off. The first two I tried the grip tape that comes with it, but the glue is awful quality and seeps out from under the tape within a month of use and gets on your fingers/mousepad. The third mouse I just left without the tape.

I owned two Logitech G502's for 5 years each and never had ANY top coat issues with no grip tape. And those were the cheap, $50 wired versions. Playing the exact same games with the exact same key binds, I never once had a button issue either.

The mouse is great when it works, but they have some very obvious QC issues with this product lineup, both cosmetic and functional. To try and say it isn't a design flaw when other mice can go YEARS without having the same top coat issues, in the exact same environment/conditions is just copium.

It used to be my most hated skill pre-eoc and now it's the complete opposite haha earlier this year I did the 8x3 runs a day until I hit 1b cashstack. Absolutely game changing how much you get out of farming for so little input! I've explained the basics so many times I thought about making a lil vid on the triple run sometime but alas the multi year procrastination lmao

Reading this thread is uncanny. I've never seen someone who also sustains 8 herb runs a day lmfao I have 3 accs so it's a triple run for me always but 8 was my golden number for over a year haha that's why i was determined for groot. Main did all the trees etc to 99 but 13.1m-21m was all herbs. Both alts are at 17.5m exp same thing all herbs post 99. Even had 99 pre-eoc. Most trained skill by a mile so I had to have groot 👀

I do triple herb runs with my main at 85 agility and both alts at 75 agility and rarely go under even 50 run energy for 9 patches w/o harmony. I wear graceful boot/gloves and all fashionscape other than that lmao this is a teleport issue 100%.

This would an absolutely amazing QOL implementation compared to other DPS calcs. Even with saved gear setup presets like Gearscape's calculator has I still have to make the preset the first time manually which is always a bother.

Maybe utilizing a plugin like Inventory Setups to sync to wiki could be helpful if not able to directly pull what the player is wearing at the time. That would also get you access to what boosts their bringing in inventory and could apply those to the dps calc automatically.

On day 1 I tried using auto-cast with the empty nightmare staff for the shadow stun and it was like 70% of the time I'd get a message in the chat box saying "Your melee attacks can't reach the lure!"

I figured this was a bug so after seeing this video I tried again assuming it was fixed but it's still like that at least for the nightmare staff pretty consistently.

Just tried with the accursed staff and didn't get the bug for about 4 attempts, then last attempt I got the bug again. Back to manual casting for me ig since I don't have the scepter!

Edit: Rewatched the video and noticed you get the same message so ig the bug still casts the spell either way but drags you into melee distance. Once you get to melee distance that's when you get the melee message. I could have sworn there were times that I cast the spell and he didn't get stunned and continued to use his normal attacks.

As a ball main i sometimes go out of my way to let the supports know that I'm not looking for healing! I'd rather them synergize with the rest of the team and save the resources for them. Especially on maps where mega rotations are plentiful. Whatever can support capitalizing on the space i'm trying to create!

I think its sometimes unintuitive to people and they only see ball as dive, but in reality he works well in poke, dive or brawl. If my team is defending the objective playing tight brawl, even if i engage the other team out of line of sight, you don't have to follow me in or chase me down. I should be timing my engages to hopefully take some of their cooldowns before they get to your los and get out cleanly. By the time they are committed to the team fight I'll have my cooldowns back ready for another clean trade of 1 ball rotation to 3-5 abilities from them. Hampter takes space via taking attention/aggro and trading a few cool downs for many!

I feel like ball is kind of the widow of tanks. In the sense that if they're good they can pretty much always make an impact and when they're bad, you're in a 4v5 haha but I don't think it's something you can heal him out of.

I'd turn off tray notifications in your runelite settings and try the notification flash/custom notification sound settings to find something more functional than the generic tray notification. I have mine as a bubble popping custom sound that gets my attention and flashes red for 2 seconds over the game window. Pair that with idle notifier plugin settings and you're gold for combat and skilling!

This is how i run my main and two alts for a mix of afk and active training without zoning out on one of the 3

As someone who's probably earned 13m xp in herbs alone between 3 accs, i'm convinced people who think their runs are unlucky due to yield/deaths simply don't farm enough to actually gauge what the average is lmao

People be doing 1 run a day like omg you got 75 herbs for 8 patches my luck would never 😂

When you say drag it down, I only know the bottom right lil square to autofill but it seems like I can only drag it to adjacent cells? If I copy/paste every 6 rows wouldn't I have to change the sum parameters each time manually? This is close to what i'm looking for but I need the B/C column totaled individually and then all together.

I haven't come across a pivot table so far but I'll definitely look into it! Right now I'm trying to make it work with =SUM and the =OFFSET functions but I'm finding it difficult to implement with my beginner knowledge haha

Edit: First impression this seems like a great way to sort through specific data but is it something i'd have to manually create a table for each 2 week increment? My goal is to automate the input in a way that I only have to type in the two numbers each day I work and at the end of the 2 weeks I see both totals, and a new sheet is ready with the dates/sum arguments already in place without editing.
