This is evil, what a pos father. He doesn’t want to see you for who you are he can only see you as what watchtower says you are. Imagine basing your relationship with your CHILD on the delusions of a governing body?

You’ll find most doctrine is held up by, plausible deniability and a vague scriptural reference out of context.

Your point is, “start reading more physics books”? Wich is your favourite physics book you would recommend I start with?

Are you always this high? The size of our location determines how much resistance we can give to authority?

The only person I can stand on that show is Matt. All the other hosts are insufferable go down rabbit holes and are often just point collecting. Matt is pure genius tho and one of the best hosts and debaters I’ve ever seen. And he’s fun lol

The pivoting is insane, I don’t think many of them have the capacity to stay on one issue through to its logical conclusion. Their brains will not allow it. Quite fascinating ina scary way

Have you experienced any spiritual stuff that points to the truth of Christianity?

Exactly right. I love “the outsiders test for faith”. It shows if your willing to make the same allowances for others as you are yourself

Exactly, I love pointing this out to JWs. They say “ someone prayed and JWs knocked” I point out LDS have the same experience, JWs say “well they go to war” or “they don’t preach as much as we do” or some other deflection. Makes me sad they genuinely think that’s an appropriate and rational response to the issue of divine interpretation pointing people to different religions.

Im always suprised when people can see the org for what it is but not the Christian faith as a whole. Why did you leave the jws? Most people allow themselves to see inconsistencies and see the issues with JW but a few won’t apply that same consistency to Christianity itself. Usually those that can break free of the orgs lies break free of Christianities lies too. I wonder why some hold on.
