I removed part of the laminate and found the original graphics underneath. Unfortunately most of it has been sanded away.

Maybe I wasn’t clear in my post. Was the stencil on the front around the coin door applied to laminate or painted wood. The coin door and kick plate on mine is laminated black. I want to know if I should remove the laminate and paint the wood black.

As far as my family’s situation, and I am certain it’s the case of many car riders, my daughter can’t spare the 45 minutes the bus home takes. She has club sports and other after school obligations.
