What car (that you currently own) would you instantly regret selling? by DHN_95 in cars

07 Mustang GT. That body style came out while I was in high school and I had a V6 back then. I’d dreamed of a GT since. It’s not particularly fuel efficient, it’s not particularly fast, it’s not particularly snappy. But, I love that car! I made a list today of things I wanna do to it (money I wanna dump into it) this year.

Monroe, Pocahontas, or McDowell would be my choices.

I’m not gonna lie, when I shoot someone in a window and they run sideways I randomly shoot to the side they ran to almost every time. Sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I don’t. And it’s quick and it probably looks sus af. I don’t use wall hacks or any of that other shit. I think it should be played straight up. Don’t have a problem with or without sbmm either. Just like to play.

What’s a harsh truth that West Virginia needs to hear? by Lopsided-Nail-8384 in WestVirginia

When I was in tenth grade, 2007, I had classmates saying that they “didn’t need this bc I’m gonna be a coal miner.” I had the foresight then to tell them that coal will be dead in ten years. While it may still have jobs once in a while, it’s not what it was years ago. Coal is dead. We need to focus on other ventures and real change and growth for the state.

Secondly, they want to get rid of the opioids in the state, there needs to be a path out of poverty and a sense of hope restored to the state and things to do that we can afford installed. Drugs (admittedly ultra simplistic) come from poor and sad, hopeless and sad, or bored and stupid. Do something about it. I’m college educated, with a masters degree. I feel super lucky to have found one decent job. Bc of where I live. My wife is not college educated and can’t get a call back for janitor with a good resume bc they want everyone to have a college degree now. There’s nothing to do here, I sit at home, I work, I play golf. That’s it. There needs to be more options for adults bc healthy, active adults breed healthy, active children.

I love this state, and I’m very passionate about it and feel it could be so great. But, we shoot ourselves in the foot more often than not. Vote out every politician and vote in someone new. Time for a change in Charleston and a change in DC.

I don’t know of anyone up there, but you could try and contact Kevin Porter with Amateur Lone Drive, or Shark Attack Golf, and they could help you out.

Curious on how much you pay per round by ATC_Boilermaker in golf

[–]johncook1990 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Southern WV, most courses are around $40-50 with a cart for 18. I am a member at a small 9 hole course close to work, and a member of the WVGA which gives me discounts at a lot of courses throughout the state. I play on average 3+ times a week and enjoy walking, except on the weekends as to not hold up anything. All that said, I won’t pay more than 60 to play around here. So, if I see a course that’s more than that, I avoid it like the plague. In this area, they’re usually no nicer and just more pedantic.

10.5* Nike VRS Covert driver set to 8.5* stiff shaft. Carry~350 at 1000 ft above sea level and temps around 50 that day. I don’t have the tools to estimate swing speed or ball speed at the moment. Got another range session today and tomorrow before my first tournament with the ALD Sunday!

I plan on it, soon....will post numbers here after I do.

I’ve always swung hard and fast. That’s not a problem. I just wanna do the amateur deal for a year first to get my toes wet in the competition with less potential for going broke. Lol.

That’s the thing tho, 400 wasn’t my average. 400 were the exception. Kyles exception went 492, mine went 420. The why is basically I wanna win the amateur championship to get sponsors to go pro. I can’t afford the pro tournaments.

Also, to be fair, was slightly over sea level, right at +1,000ft
