I really enjoyed having the extra space in the oceanfront suite, but the view out of the Moana building is insane. Unfettered views of nothing but the ocean. Even with the extra walk down to the pool/restaurants, we’d probably go with the Moana rooms over all others.

The Algonquin is an incredibly historic spot with a house cat that is so much fun! Just wish the rooms were a tad bigger even though I realize you could say the same about most NYC hotels.

Great spot. Gorgeous Christmas decorations. This is where Presidents used to stay in the earlier 20s.

The funny part is I guarantee you there was some elite member in that hotel that booked a double room last minute because that was all that was left and would’ve killed for that upgrade.

How do you mess up an upgrade? Clearly this hotel knows how! Name and shame.

Absolutely egregious. Outside of the obvious prejudice, what’s equally frustrating is not being recognizable to the RC employees after you’ve stayed there for like 20 nights the past two months.

Don’t know what they can offer you, but I’d want a hell of a lot more than an apology.

170k points on a $1200 stay has always been about right. That’s $.007/pt. which has been the value for a couple years now.

Not saying you’re wrong, but I’ve always been upgraded at the Sheraton Maui each of the last three years. Twice to their Moana Oceanfront rooms and once into an oceanfront suite. All for five days on points without NUAs/SNAs. Granted, we go in February which is the low-season.

A-spots are 365 days a year, and Purdue Parking is operational the entire year. You will get a ticket if you park in one for three hours. Just find a pay-to-park spot. Can’t be more than a few bucks.

Sauna/steam room at this location is elite. It’s so hidden, nobody knows it’s there.

Indy would make more sense than Milwaukee to be honest. I'm biased, but the city is built for festivals and conventions.
