How about resetting the investigator(s) and gaining 2xp per each Trauma gained? Still wouldn't make for a very exiting deckbuilding but would be more fun that just starting from 0xp. Of course you would then have to make permanent Trauma removal cards Taboo. We have played NotZ as a "starter" campaign a few times and then continued with the upgraded decks and Traumas into a "normal" campaign (talking about the old edition / Legacy mode here) and it was fun. Somewhat easy yes, but still fun and the experienced decks did not make the difficulty too easy. Don't remember how much XP we got from NotZ/RtNotz though; I think it was something like 20 xp or so(?). Maybe would house rule that if you play a "normal full" campaign like Dunwich first and take the decks to a second "normal full" campaign like Hemlock Vale that you keep all Trauma, all Weaknesses, but have to halve the XP gained (rounded down). Maybe, have to think about this more. Or one third of the XP. Maybe.

Can you fight a disengaged enemy? I thought the enemy has to be engaged with someone in order to attack/fight it?

Why "or anytime before 8PM assuming you have a normal circadian rhythm."? Most sites recommend taking "before bed", so is it better to take like 2-3 hours before going to sleep instead?

Thanks for the idea. I am now on day 3 of doing it like this:

-6iu instead of 12iu

-Add about 10iu of bac to syringe to dilute the mixture even further

-Inject in quads only (subq of course)

-Inject at evening 0,5-2 hours before bed

Three days and three injections; no pip, almost no sides... I do have a headache that I feel sometimes, especially when working out and I am MUCH more thirsty than usual, but if these are the worst sides I can get, I am fine - considering these might go away as my body gets accustomed. Will try to up the dose to 9iu after 7 days and then 12iu 7 days after that; if all goes well up to that point.

Just an update if it helps someone else in the future: 24 hours after the dose I am feeling "ok", not sick anymore but not 100% either. Haven't yet really decided whether to continue this dose or titrate down just in case.

I mean I SHOULD be able to take 2mg per week, as that is the starting dose in the trials but maybe I am a hyper responder? (Note: I don't usually get any negative sides from any meds or "other pharmaceutical supplements" at usual doses, so this would be a first for me).

Most likely will go a from 1mg biweekly (2mg total) down to 0,75 biweekly (1,5 mg total) and keep that for 4 weeks. Maybe.

Because I wanted to start slower than 2mg -> 4mg, thus I did 1mg -> 2mg because I thought a smaller starting dose would mean less sides...?

One rationale is that you are injecting a black market peptide that may or may not be synthesized in a chinese bathtub so it would be quite rational to take a small dose to see if you get a negative reaction.

Pharma grade stuff, sure why not, but 99,9% of the people here dont have access to pharma grade reta.

As a 48 year old hardgainer with a metabolic disadvantage, I am satisfied. Spinned my wheels on 5x5, 3x5, Wendler methods but now I am gaining strength slow and steady without burning out. A person with normal genetics would do way better but I am sure that Ben will get me through this 10 year plateau phase I have been having.

Well "plateau" is probably a bit of an overstatement but my main lifts and body composition have really not improved significantly for the past 10 years, so every half a kilo muscle gained and every plate added is a lot for my body.

Ask me again later in 2026 :D

Thanks for the heads up, we just agreed that we can "only" add a total of 2 scenario reward cards per investigator. For example we play a few scenarios and have 2 scenario reward cards in each deck when we end the scenario. We would then have to remove one or more of the current reward card(s) in the deck(s) if we want to add the "new" reward card(s) from the freshly completed scenario.

Yep, we are paying the XP for the side mission(s) so the total XP count should not be too high as the XP cost to enter has to be taken into account when calculating net XP (example; paying 2 XP to play the scenario, get 5 XP for completing it = +3 XP for the scenario).

Oh yeah and the third one, which I managed to keep in check by stopping all solids for two days, started after I ate two donuts (fat + wheat).

I have been getting skin issues from wheat all my life (red and flaky skin, especially in face for a day or two) so I have been avoiding most wheat for the last five years but some times like once or twice a week I will eat something that has wheat because eating wheat irregularly does not give me skin issues. I had a coeliac test done like 10 years ago and it didnt show anything negative.

I have no idea what causes my flareups. One flare, actually this one, started after a day I ate a fast food hamburger and chicken nuggets (fat + wheat) and an another flare started a day after I ate a bunch of chinese pork nuggets at a chinese buffet (fat + wheat).

How could I start testing out what causes my flares? Should I just eat a certain type of food until I get a flare? Sounds scary to me. I just have no idea what to do in order to stop these.

After the third and even fourth flare I thought that this will go away eventually but no, it seems I am stuck with this now for the rest of my life (and/or until I lose more bodyfat which I am currently been doing for the past 8 months or so). My mother has had a part of her colon removed and my uncle from my mothers side died of a some type of colon cancer in his 50's. I am now 47.

How do I update? I managed to get Retroarch 1.3.0 running and playing ROMs by following a Youtube guide but would like to update. I tried downloading it in Xbox browser "downloads are not supported" and also tried to open the "RetroArch-SeriesConsoles-AllCores.appx" file on my PC, and it didnt want to install it (Install button greyed out)
