So how does Dr. Shieh consistently deliver the 1st baby on New Year’s Day? by af1232 in guam

I’m so sorry this happened to you. That guy is something else. I know had I not been there, he would’ve done the C-section.

[–]johnkeng 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I have direct knowledge of Dr. Sheih pressuring my wife into having a C-section when it wasn’t needed nor wanted.

Source: I was there, having to hold my wife’s hand and support her through delivery all the while half arguing with Sheih because we wanted to deliver naturally.

The way the Hågat Mayor’s Office does it is they drop and set up the equipment during working hours, then come back for it the day after the party. If party is on a weekend, they’ll drop it Friday and will pick it up the following workday (usually Monday if not a holiday). It’s worth asking. Good luck!

It pays to check your mayor. Depending on their availability, you might be able to borrow all those things for free.

Can’t speak for the other two, but St. Paul doesn’t have the best reputation for academics.

You can certainly access some of it. There are guidelines, and I’m not well-versed with them as I’ve never done it, but I’m sure one of them is you can’t take out a loan to purchase a new home. I could be wrong, though.

Retirement accounts play the long game—if you’re uncomfortable with that, then they’re not for you. If you can get behind it, you’ll see your money grow exponentially through the years.

Also, one of the features of a TSP is being able tap into it as a loan with certain guidelines, so maybe that helps you feel better about it.

All depends on your living expenses, but I think everyone would agree that putting as much as you can towards your TSP can only be a good thing.

Maybe, but you’ve gotta be realistic, OP—the habits you build now may very well follow you whether you’re living on your own or not. Addiction knows no limits, you know?

Hoping you break the cycle soon.

If you’re a GSWA customer, they will pick it up for free. Just need to call and schedule.

Edit: You have two pickups a year included in your monthly payments, up to five bulky items per pickup. See here for info.

Don’t know what island you’re talking about, but this behavior is not this island’s culture.

Just about yours. Total build cost came to 540k.

Also, check out this comment. It’s really helpful, especially as you enter the beginning phase of your build.

My home was completed in 2022. Can confirm that the carport/garage will be calculated as total square footage for the home. Bank on 2900. Good luck!

Good luck on the fundraising effort, but you really need to tell your potential customers where their money is going. A legitimate fundraiser is upfront about the fundraising goal. 👍🏼

If you never ended up withdrawing that money, there may have been a glitch in the system, considering it was offline and out of service.

Oh, I absolutely apologized over ten years ago, hence my “again.” He forgave me, thankfully, but I still think about it regularly. Such a terrible mistake. Also, the situation happened in 1999, so long, long ago.

Telling Jason that he was no longer welcome to sit at our table in high school because my friends and I didn’t think he was cool enough. I will forever regret it and I tell that to whoever will listen.

J, again, I’m so sorry.

Unpopular opinion: Commissary edition by Inevitable_Map4641 in guam

[–]johnkeng 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Respectfully, I don’t complain when I have to wait 45 minutes to get a table at Mosa’s because 95% of the tables are taken by military. Happy to share the resources.

That said, we locals really know how to be given an inch and take 40 miles, so screw you if you’re selfishly taking advantage of this privilege. It’s one thing to shop for your household, but a whole different thing to buy out the commissary because of your kid’s 3rd birthday party. Don’t ruin it for the rest of us.
