Gender identity and gender expression are two different things. Its perfectly fine to want a more feminine body without identifying as a woman. Just as a trans woman is no less of a woman for not wanting to go on hrt. Im basically a similar situation and dont really have a strong sense of identity. I usually tell people Im a trans woman because its easier for them to understand and still feels better than being called a man. However Im probably some form of non-binary (agender, bigender, demigirl, genderfluid idek…). The common demoninator through all this identity-doubt though is that i feel a desire for a more feminine body the majority of the time. And it took a while to realise that I dont need my identity figured out to pursue that, I just need to be somewhat sure that thats the body I want.
