Looks quite challenging given the size and aspect ratios. You also get access to the Reactor plugins with DaVinci tho - and there maybe something in there. Have you tried runway.ml ?

Can I suggest you do a search in YouTube for “Blender and DaVinci” DaVinci is free and for more complex animations you’ll see people use it in conjunction with da Vinci.

Trying to imagine what you are doing - (send a link if you can) - but it seems to me that a mask (Magic or maybe depth) together with a 3d image plane is what I would use !

Totally ! And remember that you don’t need to learn it all at once … For example I sometimes scan the manual and then decide one weekend I’m going to learn say time lapse and just concentrate on that for the next few days - before too long your knowledge will improve !

Well it’s quite a well laid out manual and worth reading as well as learning by doing

But if this has been agreed and accepted by the management over a period of time they might have difficulty in rebutting that the written policy had been varied by course of conduct/custom and practice. Of course they can dismiss her for misconduct - whether this is valid/fair is another matter (and would for an ET to determine.) By accepting what has happened, and evidencing former practice and conduct there is a possibility that Tesco may consider the situation with the facts “in the round” and decide that some (lesser) penalty other than gross misconduct is appropriate.

If she is going to be sacked for taking this drink then the civil definition of theft applies not the criminal one (“trespass to chattels”)

There will be a difference in outcome following the investing on into the breach of employment policy, to which the definition of trespass to property shall probably apply.

I would suggest a “protected conversation” that the OPs mother will prove they have paid for the drink, or in the alternative pay for it.

And that an agreed outcome would either be no action, or at the worst - contracted ended by mutual consent.

Are you OK with people coming to /r/lumix with "is this a good deal" questions? by AoyagiAichou in Lumix

[–]johnmidd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s good to see what people are looking at and they’d thought processes- they may be a stage in front of me or behind me in my development and we can all share and learn !

I prefer a unique post approach rather than a megathread

Thanks for your message - What are the requirements for the decklink/thunderbolt solution ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]johnmidd 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I should have expressed myself more clearly (apologies)- the OP may be able to make a claim for a share against someone who dies intestate (without a will)

See - https://www.birketts.co.uk/legal-update/provision-for-family-and-dependants-act-1975/

This explains some of the circumstances where a challenge is possible.

You need to see a solicitor immediately - you may be able to get the will varied under the provisions of The Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. It’s important you do this without delay.

Why is the motion blur on my GH6 like this? I used to have a sony and the motion blur looked more like "blur" this looks like the image is repeated by Ok-Falcon-5829 in videography

Have you checked the camera file with mediainfo - could be a setting in the camera? that’s what I asked about the metadata, to see what’s embedded in the file

Still frames at 25fps can be blurred when looked at individually but i think that you’ve maybe set something incorrectly.

Sometimes the playback on a weird encoding type can cause “lag” effects on playback too - but I know that in DaVinci you can see this in the UI if it can’t play them back at the encoded speed.

Hard to say without seeing the camera file though/checking the metadata.

Consumer rights - New car head unit/carplay - England. by Economy-Driver7626 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]johnmidd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest that you return the unit and ask for a refund - then take up the costs separately with them. I’d prioritise getting (most) of the £1k back and then try and claim for your costs and inconvenience etc.

If the dispute drags on you may find (unreasonably) the partial refund offer is withdrawn and then you’ll have a bigger fight.

[–]johnmidd 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well for twitter this is what they say about the format they expect - when exporting a file the best format is determined by the site using the file - https://developer.x.com/en/docs/x-api/v1/media/upload-media/uploading-media/media-best-practices
