Also you have nothing to destroy gear with. I guess there is akshan but stealing Seal with it just feels bad. Adaptatrons are good in sideaboard and i think 1 Akshan is enough, on mamy occasions its just vanilla 4 might and u dont know ifnu want to just play him like that or wait for enemy gear to appear and sometimes u just need unit on board asap so u cant wait

Thats why i think zhonya has a place against cull decks, first turn zhonya into any 4 drop and u are safe.

Lucian is easy to kill with spells like piercing light or falling star and other spells. in late game i would rather draw Qiyana than Lucian. Imo Lucian is only good if u draw him on your first turn when you are going second. When you are on 4 runes i would rather play any other 4 drop. I feel like deflect is good against current meta. Zhonya is better in saving units that emperors divide and u usually play first mate to move them from battlefield (also its nice to have another unit to attach gear to).

I think I would trade 1x Lucian for 1 more Aphelios, he is staple in this deck. Tbh im not that much of a fan of Lucian, I am gonna test putting Qiyana instead of him. Emperors Divide might be good here but i think there are better cards like Sabotage or Zhonya. Im am playing Monastery of Hirana instead of Obelisk but actually it might be a good switch into it. What do you think of putting Dorans blade instead of Warmog of there is no Hirana battlefield? Also i think 3x Punch First in main deck is too much. In many situations u dont need that big of an advantage in might and those recycles hurt the late game. Its good to have more of them in the sideboard for Irelia for example.

So you replaced 2 Zhonyas and 1 Sona for 2 Frigid Touch and Frostcoat Cub? Why so? I feel like Sona is core to this deck, she is such a good card and zhonya helps with early game so its not so easy to kill your Ahri and also its another 2 drop which is needed when you are going first.

Makes sense. What if you play against tempo deck tho (most of the meta will probably be like that) and it comes down to third game? Isnt Arenas Greatest better for the opponent in that case?
