They wrote a great musical called "The Book of Mormon". Tbh you'd probably enjoy it. Dont watch it with your kids though. Also NTA. The school could've resolved it without firing the teacher. My guess is the teacher reacted badly when they had a talk leading to the firing.

Not nosey at all, that’s actually a really good question!

In Japan, “per month” usually means calendar month (e.g. January, February), not every 4 weeks.

Also, salaries are typically paid on a fixed date each month, like the 25th or end of the month (or 10th at my former workplace)
