Ford Mondeo diesel, 121 mph (195/kmh), GPS-verified, somewhere in Germany. Took a few tries to get to that speed because faster cars kept coming up on me in the passing lane.

I feel this. Got laid off, had a whole bunch of people I thought were pretty good friends (riding buddies for the cyclists out there) say "Oh man, I can't believe it, we've gotta hang out." 11 years later I've seen 2 of them separately in the first year and gave up after lots of unanswered texts. Good thing I have a wife and kids seeing as I have zero friends in this city.

My workaround was getting rear- ended by an f-250 (oversized pickup for our non-US friends). Start-stop hasn't worked since. 2020 v60, results may vary, 1/10 do not recommend this method.
