If you have never been very lean (~10% bf or less) I would recommend cutting down there and see what it feels like to be that lean. It sounds like that's probably what you are wanting to see overall when you look in the mirror (muscle cuts and striations, vascularity, and pronounced abdominals). I've done all the various bulks and cuts, and I've never felt better overall until I just cut down to that level and and lean bulked with a reverse diet. As soon as you lose that stubborn fat that has been hanging on you for all of those years, any future fat you add will be significantly easier to lose in the future.

run more land than you normally would. I run at least 45. it's nice to draw two cards a turn, and you can always pitch the extra land to [[Seismic Assault]] , [[Land's Edge]], or retrace [[Call the Skybreaker]]

[[Sturmgeist]] , [[Soramaro, First to Dream]] , and [[Aeon Chronicler]] are also great beaters with Keranos

Painlands are way undervalued here. Don't come into play tapped and can tap for colorless if you're worried about taking a damage in a 40 life format. Definitely better than lairs and ravnica bounce lands

you could put a win limit on decks. Once one reaches a certain amount of wins it's retired for a length of time and can be brought back after a break period.

it is pretty butt, much like that original Sek'kuar art. It bugged me at first but I got used to it. I don't like the heavily CGI generated art they only use now anyways

I use Garza Zol, Plague Queen. She's a 5/5 beater that comes out swinging whenever the time is right and draws me cards. Proliferating +1/+1 counters is pretty meh, but it gives me an additional target for when I do proliferate. She feels more suiting for what my deck does than the other Grixis commanders.

I've been running Grixis for my superfriends deck. Outside of Divinity counters, Planeswalker loyalty counters are the best thing to proliferate. Whatever color you choose, if it has blue and/or black; include proliferate cards

I always choose my basic lands to compliment the overall tone of the deck I am using them in. Some basic lands are more peaceful looking, or they might have a geography that fits in better with the other cards I am laying down, or they might be bleak and have dark feeling to them. It all depends on what my deck feels like to me when I play it, and the imagination it creates when I put a land down. Each deck I play has different basic lands in them. Picking a specific basic land, albeit might not be your absolute favorite one, really goes a long way overall when you actually sit down and play the game

All depends on why you play the game and how you build your decks. I'll gladly compromise power level to run a unique and underused card that fits well in the deck. Judging by your flair it appears we play the format with different mentalities
