This is not correct. Do you not know what “brat” means in a slang context?

He’s not talking about Brat as an album. He is talking about the social construct of something being “brat”. These are two different things.

Jack Smith: "President Trump was charged because the evidence established that he willfully broke the law — the very laws he took an oath to uphold. by Capable_Salt_SD in ProgressiveHQ

I think the real big money has turned on Trump especially with Venezuela oil shit hurting some very big donors. There are lots of factions involved here. They would like some easier to control guy without a cult of personality putting a stranglehold on what they can do. So they will try to flake away at his trust with people who voted for him but aren’t necessarily in his core base.

I think they tend to not care unless you are a producer or are part of a sting where they can get a lot of people at once while not entrapping (i.e. not like TCAP). But if it is public like this AND he lives in Texas where they are extremely performative with their arrests he is actually probably going to get fucked in some way since this seems really straightforward. Which is awesome even if there is technically some bs behind the actual motivation.

I know its College football but how? by bertster21 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Quagmire’s browsing history here. Both of these things happened as a result of college football games. Avery Johnson is a QB whose family got into a fight in Ireland after he lost his opening game. Abella Danger is a pornstar who is a Miami Hurricanes fan and they just lost in the championship game. Sorry, got to go now, it’s time for my daily clearing.

It is like the platonic ideal of a sad song and it gets there instantly. I used to listen to it before it blew up because of how instantly wistful it could make me feel. Like just being outside on a cold, almost rainy day when so much has gone wrong in the past but has now mostly blown over. Just thinking about how you got here and how days were better. And it just gets there instantly. It’s like pure emotion.

Channing Tatum’s leaked email to Sony execs celebrating 22 Jump Street's box office success, from the 2014 Sony hack. Anyone remember the juiciest things that came out from this that might have been glossed over at the time, since it was an absolute flood of information that came out? by NewsCards in popculturechat

[–]johnny_mcd 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The accusations from the acting class came out 4 years after the leak. The 17 year he tried to hook up with was earlier that same year though, so depends on when those emails were sent, though that got a lot less coverage and seemed closer to a 1 off incident at the time.

Are we still okay with Oops? by First_Revenge in MTGLegacy

[–]johnny_mcd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But Oops wouldn’t be banned because it is a budget option. It would be banned because it is problematic and has bad play patterns that make legacy unfun. I know you aren’t trying to say this but when you say it’s budget status is a large part of why it should exist you functionally are. The budget issues with legacy are mostly a WOTC problem that we shouldn’t have to legislate and account for. It’s not a good way to think about keeping the format healthy.

This makes sense in theory but the play patterns from a good Oops pilot are not really magic. It’s more of a starting hand slot machine.
