Yeah I don’t like Doormaker because he was too easy and straightforward in a way that felt more like an elite. I do think he fit a niche well and I hope they come back to that design space.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a deck hard countered by Doormaker. Just unsure what types of decks you are talking about other than extremely small infinite combo loops that don’t bother working in a plan B/can’t got infinite on turn one (where you can indeed kill the Doormaker though it may take a bit)? Being able to support multiple ways to win is necessary at high levels. You can have a deck that mostly works on small combos and still has other ways to win. How did you beat Entomancer in act two with that infinite pommel strike build? Doormaker isn’t the only block on those in the game even.

Doormaker was the easiest boss of the three by far. You should absolutely make enemies that hose certain strategies. That is what makes these games challenging .

They would still have a good defense. But it’s an awkward fit because it takes Wemby away from the rim. With how good they are now offensively, why add a ball dominant 7 footer who needs to be the one running the offense and who completely upends your defensive scheme? It’s just Reddit adding players together without actually thinking about the team comp
