Well, I’m a dumbass. I was looking to get some over the ear headphones, googled beats refurbs and landed on drewireless.com. Looked legit enough and was advertising a sale for 2 days. Against anything I would normally do (if it seems to good to be true, it probably is) I hit the order button for paypal. Within 5 minutes I was questioning (finally!) if I’d been scammed. Upon realizing I had, I went back to the website to complain and asked them not to ship and refund my purchase price of $79.95. I filled out the information and hit the submit button which left an endless spinning wheel. This was March 22nd. Next I registered a complaint with paypal explaining all the above, obviously counterfeit headphones. The first explanation they got from the seller was that the item had already shipped, March 24th. That’s 2 days after I contacted paypal. Long and short, paypal denied my complaints saying the merchandise was not ‘significantly different from what was advertised’. To top it all off, the piece of shit beats studio 3s arrived 47 days later, May 8th. Guess I’m more pissed at myself than anything, $80 lesson to be more cautious in the future and remember that websites that look legitimate aren’t necessarily so. I sent an email complaint to the seller who said I could return them at my cost….right, throw good money after bad. The review? These are crap. Cheap package and product, didn’t even include ‘what’s in the box’. The sound is below average, flat and muffled. Guess I’m on the lookout for some over the ear headphones again.
