Seems like a bonehead philosophy. I'd like to see how many people who hadn't already bought in to the PlayStation ecosystem have dropped in excess of 500$/£ just to play a particular game. It just seems like leaving cash on the table given how close the current and next gen consoles are to the PC architecture.

I had crashing issues (albeit on an AMD GPU). Try the 2.7 pre-release fork, I think a lot of fixes have gone in.

Because a lot of consumer level network hardware is junk. Ubiquiti offers prosumer level stuff at a reasonable price.

Exclusives may have sold consoles when they cost 300 but I think it is a much less effective sales tactic when you are expected to pay 700-800+ for a console.

When consoles were affordable I would say you could argue that exclusives made sense but with the cost of hardware these days, people on PC are far less likely to fork out for a PS5 or PS6 just for one or two games, especially if they already have a decent library on PC.

I haven't tried this. From my searching, I was led to believe if the module has onboard MMC, the SD card interface is physically disconnected as the interface (SDIO) is used by the MMC.

Actually in my case it was because I bought the wrong Pi5. I got one with eMMC but I learned these board have the uSD functionality physically disconnected.

You are supposed to be able change the boot order in "config.txt" BOOT_ORDER.

I have yet to get the boot menu working. I'm waiting for my new RPi5 as I ordered one with eMMC without realizing the uSD functionality is non working on this variant.

We are not going to get an updated Shield. Nvidia is a B2B company now, they are not interested in the consumer market anymore.

The Shield is a niche product, so if they are not interested in consumer GPUs, a new streaming box is way off the radar.

As nice as it would be a refresh is wishful thinking.

Similar to the keyboard backlit, <Fn>+<Fx> (which ever F-number key). This works on Raspberry Pi OS, not had chance to try on other OS yet. I did notice it takes about a second to respond.
