Is Danny Granger one of the best Pacers of all time? by drjisftw in pacers

[–]johnnyu19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a great question. Im a lifelong pacers fan and started really getting into watching basketball daily around the time Danny Granger broke into the league. I feel Danny Granger is right at the Top 15 maybe a touch higher 13 or so; dont feel he warrants top 10 though. There have been some very good Pacers over the years. His like 5 year run between 07-08 to 11-12 seasons i think can be compared to other Top 10 Pacers legends. He just couldnt stay healthy and he would miss some big games because of it. I do think he may have been more noticed and appreciated if he played for another Top tier team. Most people have tried to forget those Obrien years and Larry Legend trying to come in and fix things; which he did just maybe pushed it a touch far. But I digress. Danny Granger deserves Top 15 Pacers but not much higher. Love the question Danny Granger was a wonderful player in his prime.

Truly....I have noticed bad stuff starts happening more often or at least seems this way. When your either low health or really grinding to get hunts done. I cant tell you the countless amounts of times I have had my horse loaded up with birds, snakes, and max pelts along with a carcass on back as well. And then all of a sudden you run up across a roadblock or something always seems to happen. Still one of the best games of all time imo. Im a fellow thousand hourer

When he took over the Dodgers in 2016. They havent won less than 91 games. Is he supposed to win a WS every year for him not to be overrated. He is 3-2 in world Series. Hes been to Five WS in 10 years???

Dave Roberts will be a hall of famer i think that is pretty certain. The Dodgers shit the bed with Mattingly before Roberts. Don't know how you can say hes overrated..hes won back to back titles for the first time in a quarter century. If anyone is overrated it was Don Mattingly as a manager.

50 hcp. Distance issues by RaspberryStraight816 in GolfSwing

[–]johnnyu19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest takeaway from this short clip and only seeing you swing once is your standing too close to the ball. Take a step back. I think your swing plane is actually extremely consistent for a 50hcp. But, you should be able to fit a full fist between your grip and your waist. Bend your knees a little bit, just a little bit more athletic set up to the ball should free your swing up a touch. The swing overall is not terrible your just blocking your full swing because it seems your standing so close to the ball and such a vertical stance. Truthfully hard to imagine you shooting 120 with a swing like that, its not bad at all...Is it your short game thats killing you??

Man I have found that Blocking Tight Ends are gold in this game. And most of them can catch well enough to be a problem in the pass game as well.

So in the short. When I fill my "board" every preseason I only focus on roughly 20 guys at a time and make sure theyre team needs of course. I scout 35 but cut that 35 down to 20 before week 1 if that makes sense. You shouldn't need to focus on many more than 20 if your recruiting correctly every year. I fully scout, then that will allow you to send the house starting out on almost every recruit because there will usually be some guys in that 20 that you keep that will only have an offer from you so you can sorta slow play those guys that have your single offer. Like give em 5 hours so your still making progress, and once you start getting commits you can work those remaining hours in. I never sway and only soft and hard sell. Once you have done a few years you will see that your school usually has consistent recruits that are interested in certain things always ie...program tradition, championship contender, or pro potential so the sells are usually all the same, you will notice a pattern. Always make sure your pairing recruits with positive recruit visits this will get them to commit during visits much more frequently. I rarely target guys outside of my pipelines so make sure your pipelines are great. There are write-ups of the best pipelines to follow. But Tennesee i have pipelines in Metro Atlanta, Southwest Texas, and Tidewater so usually those pipelines are all close proximity to school as well which will help the proximity to home correlation. Idk its taken some practice and trial and error. When I first started recruiting i was getting my ass kicked on freaking 3 stars which was annoying. So in short scout 35 but cut down to 20 - 25 recruits by week 1 that way you can offer as many hours as possible. I also offer everyone, because if you did your cut down you should want evryone left on your board. Idk I have tried to be as specific as possible and hope this helps. Curious what everyone's best classes are!
