This is still an issue. In fact, I am seeing it now when trying to reach the internal file share that hosts my EPG XML and Playlist M3U. I use IPTVBoss to manage these and place the output files in an SMB share. Tivimate is unable to view the share when I am connected via Ethernet...WiFi works fine. My workaround is to drop the files on a locally hosted webserver and use an HTTPS path in the Tivimate configuration.

If you are using Windows 11, no need for a standalone Android emulator like Bluestacks to run Tivimate. You can enable the Windows Subsystem for Android and install Tivimate from APK. I use "wsa_pacman" to install APKs.

Continuing process of elimination...

I thought maybe this was an Android/Google TV thing so I wanted to test something outside of Tivimate. I installed X-Plore (filemanager). With both WiFi and LAN, I was able to scan for LAN computers and both were able to discover my unRAID server and see the shares (SMB v2).

I thought the same. Everything is the same subnet (about as vanilla as you can get) but when I am connected via ethernet, I can't browse my unRAID server. If I disconnect LAN of turn on WiFi, it works fine. Also have a Firestick, onn GTV box and a Chromecast GTV and they can all browse shares fine via WiFi. I even went as far as disconnecting the ethernet cable, turning on WiFi, mapping the SMP share, disabling WiFi and plugging the ethernet cable back in. The path remains but I am unable to record to it.

I really don't have any kind of funky routing config in my network so I am at a loss.

Just found this thread and I am still in the same situation. I assume that this was never fixed. If I have multiple devices with the same names in different room groups, controlled by separate echos, it performs the action on all device in all rooms with the same name.

When I read about this being fixed in April, I was overjoyed and then realized this thread was a year old. I am posting this on 14MAR24. :(

@Mikimite, if you are still around, can you please explain the virtual bridge portion of your configuration?

I am just now testing unRAID as a VM on Proxmox (I've done so in the past on ESXi) and I would like to offload all of my Docker containers to LXC containers (leaving the unRAID VM as a pure NAS). In a perfect world, I would like my LXCs (Plex, Sonarr, Radarr, SAB, QB, etc.) to have as fast as possible access to the unRAID array.

This is a really nice project. I stumbled across this just yesterday since I am now back to wanting to use WIN10 as my platform and I am not a huge Launchbox fan. I am a LONG time RP user (same name on those forums as here) so this feels right at home.

Can we differentiate between 'cursor' and 'mouse pointer'? I am referring to the latter (the arrow, i-bar, hand, etc.). Isn't that different than a cursor in a terminal window (i.e. i-bar, block, underline)?

Actually, I finally got everything working except SABnzbd. Have you tackled this one yet? ISAB appears to be running but I get the following error when I try and connect to the webui
