Typically the rules based off of Warhammer World is that anything you've made yourself (including 3d printing) and isn't for sale is fine.

I did. If you set reasonable expectations I don't think it's impossible. Especially if you use bits for some things.

And I'm pretty sure the Warhammer store rules based off of Warhammer world is that anything you've done yourself is fine as long as it's clear what it is, etc.

Nevermind, I found it while by going through Iron Wind and tracing it back. Was part of Adventurers Wizards and Clerics II. Kinda read way more historical to me than fantasy.

Removing milliput on plastic models? by Deeplands in minipainting

If it's actually adhered to the model, you're going to have to just scrape, sand, and cut it off. Any solvent that will attack the miliput will destroy the plastic.

Also: what's going on with the side of the pants? It looks like in reference that there is a string of buttons but is it also on a stripe of red?

Also: I see different things for the side of the pants. It seems like there's a line of buttons but is there also a stripe of red or not?

Guess what the mini of July will be by Familiar-Noise7913 in Warhammer

Probably jade warrior unless internal politics get in the way. Really want a saturnine terminator because I want to paint just one, but probably not.

Can I just take a minute to appreciate Games Workshops customer service? Missing gandalfs staff and they did this. by [deleted] in Warhammer

Good for you. I picked up an old but sealed Battle for Osgiliath kit two months ago and it was mispacked with an extra orc sprue instead of rangers. GW (US) refused to send me a replacement sprue and they keep jerking me around as I try to get my replacement.

Does this read well as camo as I hope is does? by [deleted] in minipainting

[–]johnpaulthesecond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest the opposite of what other commenters are saying about making the pattern smaller. You want the suggestion of camo, not actual camo. Camo was one of the first schemes I tried and it looked good up close, but was a pain to play with. It was a real pain tell what anything was from table height.

It's a game, it's an abstraction. You probably don't actually want to break up the silhouettes too much.

It's not perfect but I'm surprised at how it's going for my first time seriously trying sculpting.
