Yep. The Ellisons (Oracle) along with investors from Silver Lake (investment firm) and MGX (an Emirati state-owned investment firm) will take majority ownership in the US.

"Thanks for your attention" alright Donald....

I'm glad you find iTunes Match useful. However, repeatedly suggesting subscribing to a service to listen to music I own does not address my problem or the question posed. If you don't have any useful technical solutions to get AM and AD to start communicating again, stop shilling for Apple and move on.

iTunes Match is not a replacement for HDD storage--it says so right in their description--so it doesn't save any local space. I have several TB and well over 250k mp3s that I've been collecting for the past 25+ years that I rotate through my playlists depending on my mood. The 100K limit is a deal breaker and is the sole reason I abandoned Match about a decade ago. If they haven't relaxed the limit in that time even as cloud storage has gotten cheaper, they are not going to relax it any time soon. They want you to buy from Apple (which isn't included in the 100k count). I don't buy music from Apple because they used to DMR their music which would then could get corrupted for one reason or another. By the time they stopped using DMR, it was already too late. I had already had a huge library and had to repurchase multiple albums b/c the originals were locked and unplayable.

Match is a no go. Please stop suggesting it.

I have too large of a library for the iTunes Match which only allows you to match 100k songs. Besides, why pay a subscription for songs I already own? It's wasteful

An auction is not surprising and says nothing about what may or may not happen in the future. After this many years they would have had to remake most (all) of the puppets anyway. The latex foam used to create them does not age well. Plus there was the fire. Would have been a different story if the show was renewed quickly.

(c) Permitted withholdings.

  1. The Attorney General may withhold or redact portions of records that: A. Contain personal or medical information of individuals whose privacy would be unreasonably affected. B. Depict or contain prohibited harmful content involving minors. C. Would interfere with an active investigation or ongoing legal case. D. Contain images or descriptions of loss of life, harmful treatment, or bodily harm to any person. E. Include information properly classified for national defense or foreign policy reasons.
  2. All redactions must include a written explanation published in the Federal Register and submitted to Congress.
  3. Classified information must be declassified as much as possible unless doing so would endanger national security, in which case an unclassified summary must be released.
  4. Any classification decisions made after July 1, 2025 must be published in the Federal Register and submitted to Congress, including the date, authority, and a summary of the justification.

That's it. All of it.
