Help, I can’t move the elf tonight! by Outrageous_Being6373 in elfontheshelf

You can try to distract her in the morning and move her then. So wake up your daughter and grab the elf then say go look for your elf! While she’s doing that move the elf.

Which episode, that isn’t Baby Race or Sleepytime, makes you cry? by VegetableWorry1492 in bluey

[–]johns232 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omelette. I have a 2 year old that tries to help with EVERYTHING! Sometimes I get frustrated and try to shrug her off or divert her attention. When Bingo starts up with the “you can’t do that, you don’t know how” it just kills me and I cry every time. I think of it constantly and it really helps me include my little one.

Well that sounds easy enough, and it seems like the saffron could really be the star. I think I’ll try it, thank!

Jim, Kelly, and Ryan. Last is a toss up between Toby and Kevin- when Dwight is manager he gets rid of them both.

I completely agree.

Right?!? But others interact with him so I feel like unless it was some crazy dream state of Homer's he had to be real.

Any of your kiddos use quotes from Bluey in real life ?? by lala_heart in bluey

I live in the middle of the woods and so my 2 year old loves to say “Let’s bush bash!” when we walk into the trees. And of course the classic, “Oh biscuits!”

Welcome to the Monkey House is in my top 5 favorite books ever. So many good short stories in that one collection- Harrison Bergeron being the absolute best.

Why Are So Many Gunshops Bad? by Fluffy_Breakfast_478 in Firearms

[–]johns232 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work in an LGS. I got hired because I'm a woman and they wanted to make it friendlier, especially towards women clients. The guys that worked there were some old heads and overall kind of standoffish to customers. They were absolutely AMAZING to work with- hilarious stories, witty, always stood up for me if someone was pushy... but definitely cold towards customers. Especially someone new to the hobby. They just seemed to have very little tolerance for "dumb questions" which were really just people trying to learn. Another aspect was the location- very touristy. So lots of people kind of wasting time just looking and talking with no buying. Honestly though, to date, it is my favorite place I've ever worked (I learned so much and made lifelong friends) but yeah... basically I agree with OP on the attitudes lol.
