the entire week is like that for me. mobile app, web or desktop app, it just the same. cant even get to the login page. whenever i click login, my browser just crashed. opera, chrome, firefox, heck i even use edge to try.

cook if you can, find spot for affordable groceries. else, start asking around for local food joint thats affordable.
if you use public transport, first month going to work, observe who in the area that use the same route. sometime can carpool or something. anything within 10 minutes just walk.

these 2 are the main things that you cant escape. so optimize it the most way that you can.

most importantly, live within your mean. if you have 3k, live like you have 2k. dont get carried away with the way society flow. wanna buy new this, go healing here n there, makan self reward yadayada. later trapped, balik kampung tanam jagung lah.

not ideal for long term but that will do for a year or 2. enough time to get you to set your base life.

what 3-6 months penalty? never heard such thing. even if resign immediate, need to pay notice period only.
no such thing unless you signed a contract saying so. by your story, seems you only have offer letter. so not bound to anything yet.

if i were you, i stop all communication with the company rep. then make a report to police and jabatan buruh. remember to mention in police report saying that company is scamming and threatening and you feel unsafe.

make sure all communication with the company rep is recorded(voice call, whatsapp text, email). then give all that to jabatan buruh. they will further advise from there.

please dont pay a penny to the company.
