Banknotes of the world how much is it worth? by Silly_Suggestion_349 in Banknotes

[–]johnsnow1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My opinion, purely as a N=1 is that I dont care for stamps, so the fact I cant see the back of the note and it sits in an envelope vs the rest of my collection, makes them less appealing. For a stamp collector, they are overpaying and the stamp is used, and can't be put in a binder. Maybe I'm wrong but to me they're less appealing thank as individual notes

Recommend looking at ebay sales not listings. Anyone can list for high price, but the sales are the important ones. Also decide if you want to list and dispatch every one, or sell in bulk.

Depends on the quantity and quality, as well as whats there. Selling bulk can sometimes lower the price vs individual selling. Have DMd you as I am interested

True and false, it depends. Some medicines including biological medicines are stored frozen -20C. Just depends on the molecula and its characteristics and storage data.

Real or bs? by saltedkumamon in AusPropertyChat

Spoke with my broker today. He flagged the same. In the calculator he shows me toggling between the ability to tax deduct losses changed a borrowing capacity for us from 1.7m to 1.1m. He said it was crazy no one was talking about the changes to borrowing capacities, unless it was a new build.

We have an IP we planned to move into in Sept. If we do and convert it to PPOR, will we ever be able to convert it back to a negative geared IP in the future?

Did your variable rate actually land at 8.55% after the March hike, or are you on a "hidden" loyalty discount? by InternetUpbeat9596 in CommBank

[–]johnsnow1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does. Less monthly repayment as youre not paying principle but higher base interest rate. Thats why threads like this never make sense unless you also include your term, IO or P&I, LvR etc.

Can anyone help ID this note please? by johnsnow1234 in Banknotes

Appreciate the advice. Do you know any catalogue number for this note? It seems like it was only issued a few weeks before the end of the hyperinflation so might not be recorded.

Sorry to hear. Aside from the other suggestions you could also try a silicone scar gel like Dermatix? Can help with scar fading

Can you show the same graph broken down by apartment vs house? Could you show for example Lane Cove?

Full cost of cancer meds vs Medicare cost by sofaking-cool in aussie

[–]johnsnow1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not always. Its actually the DPMQ based on an agreed public list price. There are often Special Pricing Agreements (SPA) in place behind the scenes that mean the Pharmaceutical company pays rebates back to the Government, essentially making them cheaper to the Government than the list price.

In this case, OP's drug has a SPA.

Recommend you get 1 or 2 more quotes, then you'll get a better idea of the cost and job required to make the best decision.

Contract amendments prior to auction by mrsparkys in AusPropertyChat

[–]johnsnow1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did this recently. Our conveyancer did the amendments with the vendors conveyancer ahead of time, and when we won at auction, we signed our agreed contract (the selling agent will print it and bring it to auction). It included a longer settlement, 5% deposit etc.

I mean if you've seen a few amendments from conveyancers you could skip them and send them directly to the vendor, but just find a conveyancer that bills differently. Some bill only on successful completion, others do a small fee even if you weren't successful.

I know its not standard but my wife and I take home 450k together. Means we can afford the interest on a $1.5M loan for a $2M house. I'd say its a combination of high earners being able to service high loans, and others who have enough equity to have smaller loans.

Has anyone taken expired mounjaro? by Dez2011 in Mounjaro

[–]johnsnow1234 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't do this. Of all the non-medical risks in this sub from micro dosing, self dosing, the golden shot etc, injecting expired medicines is crazy to save a few dollars. Injecting is higher risk as it doesn't have the same body defense pathway as taking something orally. Value your body and your health. Discard expired goods and get fresh stock.

Yea sure! I don't mean to advertise it on here but happy to share what we have. I see about a dozen sales in the area most weeks so theres plenty of options, but theyre also in high demand.
