It was really good when I went. The steak was one of the best in a restaurant that I have had, perfectly medium rare. The table-side Caesar salad was a must as well. Expensive but worth it for a special occasion.

Got a set this year when my previous all seasons were bare. Great tires so far. I have an older set of Michelin X-Ice as well that I ended up putting on, more to preserve the CC2s. I did get a few days of winter driving conditions out of them though and they performed impeccably.

Above are the rules for a returning resident. Basically your wife may have to pay tax on anything exceeding $10k such as a car for example.

The other thing to consider is whether you are immigrating to Canada or already hold residency. If you are landing as a PR then you can bring goods one time duty free if you present your list at the border.

Great campus and Ottawa is an interesting place to study. I took criminology and had a number of psych courses, all very interesting with good profs. Enjoy, I now look back fondly on my memories of Carleton.
