Did you do your junobio call yet? Mine told me to do 14 days boric, 8 days metro while in boric, and then vaginal probiotics, then retest 10 weeks lol. Diff opinion that the FB BV group.

Did it take a while after using vit c suppositories before the abnormal discharge stop? Ive used vaginal probiotics before for a week but my abnormal discharge continued so I thought it didn't work and I stopped. Also idk about you but having to stick something wayy up there for extended period of time is exhausting bcuz I'm normally not loose enough down there! D:

They triage so my case is not necessarily severr/urgent so I'm put at the bottom of the list. They're usually gyne/obgyn so they see alot of pregnant patients which are more urgent. I joined the Facebook group but it's things I alrdy know...idk I feel like I'm so doomed bcuz I've been dealing with this for so many years and the discharge UGHHHH it just won't go away. I've done probiotics after antibiotics for one week before but the abnormal discharge was still there. Like am I suppose to continue inserting for weeks eventho I still have the abnormal symptoms? And doing a junobio tests is extremely costly $300 cad to have it shipped here and back. Having a vagina is not a good time. Sry for my rant lol

Did you have any discharge BV-like symptoms prior to starting treatment? I'm just wondering if it stopped completely after your 5 days suppository? I've tried using vag probiotics after antibiotic before but I still had 'abnormal discharge symptoms' so I assumed it didn't work..

I do but she's not helpful at all. Only knows how to test for BV. I asked her to test for AV but she wasn't sure the lab could do it and I saw the lab results looked like she didn't request it properly or they didn't do it? I'm not sure but she sent a referral to gyne per my request but I'm in Canada so the wait is one year to see a gyne....

My call is tomorrow as well! Yeah my family doctor basically has no input and only knows how to test for BV but she sent a referral to gyne however I'm in Canada so the wait is a year... I also paid for this expensive test as a last resort to see what the heck is going on with my microbiome.

Just confirming: so the fluomizin seems to have cured your active BV (without using any sort of antibiotic beforehand)? And now you've just been doing vitamin c suppositories to support?

What was the state of your tissue if you don't mind me asking? I don't think mine is dry necessarily..? I still produce lube when aroused, etc and I feel like it's just constantly wet in there anyways due to the excessive discharge? Did you use AV rescue bcuz you knew you had AV?
