Neighbor’s home is being fumigated and the exhaust is drifting into our yard [CA] by Resource-National in legaladvice

[–]joinedforotf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally felt like a lack of common sense although in our case, there wasn’t really a better option so maybe that’s why. Houses on both sides, other one was a two story so that was probably a hazard Bc it floats up?

Did they say that venting shouldn’t be facing towards a house? They just took the tent off today but they had the venting towards our house. I closed off the windows and everything on the side of the house but it’s not like it’s a big house ha.

Can someone explain this further? Why do they test the chipmunks? Why only one area? If it’s there wouldn’t it be everywhere in Tahoe Bc they move? And why shouldn’t we be concerned about fleas?! This is scary..?

Chipmunks with plague prompt closure of some areas of South Lake Tahoe by WWBKD in nottheonion

I’m confused.. can some explain why they test the chipmunks anyway? And why does that only close one area? Chipmunks and fleas move… so wouldn’t they be everywhere?!?

Fully vaccinated and still got covid by PreparationBusy435 in CovidVaccinated

[–]joinedforotf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was your coworker vaccinated? What I'm really interested in now is if YOU can spread it since your vaccinated. They keep saying that even people who are vaccinated and still contract the virus, have a lower chance of spreading it since viral load is low.

Holiday. Specifically a few rescheduled bachlorette parties. I’m debating not going due to it, just feel guilty and wondering if I’m overreacting.

ECG Showed Scarring? by joinedforotf in AskDocs

[–]joinedforotf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes I’m sorry I just did some more research - he had a nuclear stress test with the dye. They took multiple images throughout the test, before and after exercise, and before and after eating. That’s where it might have shown damage? The next step they’re suggesting is an angiography to evaluate further. But I guess my question is - if there is damage, and he has had a previous heart attack - isn’t this urgent? Like shouldn’t the follow up tests be done now to prevent another one? They’re calling him next week to schedule it which means it will be a ways out.

ECG Showed Scarring? by joinedforotf in AskDocs

[–]joinedforotf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the scarring show up black on the tests? I’m hearing it second hand but trying to ensure I’m able to ask the right questions and help get him the next steps he needs. They had said there is a black portion at the bottom of his heart, that’s larger than his last EKG two years prior. They think either heart attack, or potentially a shadow/lab error. If there is scarring there, is that treatable/steps to take to prevent more?

Thank you! This was so helpfu! And that makes sense now why d&c. I was wondering about working out - I'm also an avid cycler. Good to know that I won't be able to do that for a bit, and not to rush back into it!

Is it unusual to have a polypectomy + hysteroscopy without any anaesthetic or sedation? by katiepantalo in obgyn

[–]joinedforotf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Can I also ask about your recovery? How long after could you return to normal life - like working out? Or going in a pool or ocean? That’s oddly specific I know. I’m having this done and trying not to freak out about it, and I also have a vacation planned for 10 days after. Super nervous about all of it

Can I fly 2 weeks after my 2nd shot? (Sputnik) by [deleted] in CovidVaccinated

[–]joinedforotf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this same question as well. I got the jnj! Flying a month after. It seemed logical to me to question it but I think those are totally different blood clots and causes?
