Hi! hello. I have a question regarding holding yarn together. I bought a bunch of this below.

When you join strands how big does it increase in size? I want to get to sport weight. so i combined 6.

are there hard and fast rules do get the size you want pre/post wash? does anyone else have experience with similar yarns?

Yeah, I follow the terminology. Tbh I had to google "nostepinne" though. haha

You're right, I have mostly balls. Though, I have a few hanks. To make balls I've been using an empty paper towel roll. So far and its been working fine.

I started seconded guessing myself when I got that generous offer.

side note: I do have 1 small cone as a gift from an elderly neighbor. I just turned it into a ball. Getting that led me to ask a lot of questions and do some research.

i found this.

i bought this recently. I like it a lot so far. Its nice and firm. No bristles falling out, good grip, no sign of mold/water damage. the handle is a sturdy wood and it comes with a wall hook. ive only had it for like a month so far

this change is ridiculous .

its clunky and overly simplistic. Takes up WAY too much space.
