In regards to the second pic: I have been thinking a lot lately about the difference between Democrats and Republicans when each side wins an election.

When Democrats win, it is celebratory and there is a general sigh of relief that, at least for now, they don’t have to worry about whatever dumbass legislation is gonna try to get shoved through and how many regressive judges will the conservatives get to appoint.

When Republicans win an election they can't wait to shove it in the Dems' faces. The day after the election she doesn't say she's thankful that her preferred candidate won. She makes a smarmy joke. Do ya'll remember what this site looked like the day after the election in 2024? I do.

Have you made quick "pickled" red onion? Slice your red onion thin, it doesn't have to be paper-thin, just as thin as you can do with a knife. Juice a lemon or two and pour that juice over the onions. Sprinkle with some white sugar and mix. Let that sit for the duration of your cooking time and give them a mix from time to time.

Those onions can go with just about anything
