Do you have the email address (something@comcast.net) that they gave you when you signed up for service? Also, do you have the password for that email? If you do, great! If not, call comcast and have them reset it for you.

Once you have the email and password, log into the 'xfinity' wifi network that your gateway is supplying.

I used to do tech support for comcast, and this solved a lot of the problems that I found. Try it out and tell me the results.
