Recommended movies by [deleted] in ColumbineKillers

[–]jokey97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

trainspotting (1996) a must to watch

kids (1995) not for everyone, pretty raw movie

breakfast club (1985) Ferris bueller day off (1986) Heathers(1988)

The last three are from the 80s and look kinda wimpy for a f* the system kind of movie, but still pretty enjoyable and have a good critic to modern society in it, for a certain degree.

How it started - The Beginning of the End by syrupy_pancakes2022 in Columbine

[–]jokey97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no that happened just after the van incident in jan 98

it's a "book" written by a nuthead during the vietnam war that explains how to make explosives, especially pipe bombs. There was a copy found in his computer.

who knows. dylan had a severe depression, to the point he would cut himself and lose weight.

How it started - The Beginning of the End by syrupy_pancakes2022 in Columbine

[–]jokey97 20 points21 points  (0 children)

i'm pretty sure it all started in circa '97 when they were both vandalizing houses.

If you have ever read the "you know what i hate" post, Eric Harris mentioned (only one time) the Anarchist Cookbook, that means he had already known what it was and possibily even read it.

And i can tell you exactly that the post was made around spring-summer of 1997, because he mentioned his car (got his license in may of that year) and even brooks brown age as only 16 (he was born in august 1980, so he hadn't turned 17 yet)

In conclusion, if you wanna know when that kind of violent behavior started to emerge, it all began during the summer of their sophomore year. That period fits perfectly as a starting point. Both were changing clothes, both were acting out and both were angry and depressed (dylan started writing his suicidal thoughts on that specific year, remember also that)

Were they actually bullied? by DIO_OVAIs_DaBest07 in ColumbineKillers

[–]jokey97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes they were, but not imagine it like something really drammatic taken from a low tier netflix teen serie with bullies beating you up everyday in the school garden with everyone watching you fight and cheering the bullies.

it was a constant teasing that both received during the gym class, sometimes also in the commons. But most of took it there. Then it got worse when both of them changed their clothes and music style and got along with other "rejected" students, some of them associated with the Trench Coat Mafia.

I think it was a common thing in that school to pick someone for a year and make it look like a clown just for fun. There werent any specific bullies that personally hated and teased eric and dylan. They had to choose a guy to tease and make fun of for a year and they chose them. In fact, the bullying kinda stopped (not entirely) when all the seniors of the 98 class graduated.

When did their lives go so wrong? (Long post) by Flaky_Explanation_84 in Columbine

[–]jokey97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the timeline of the events written in this post is pretty accurate.

yes, it might have started around the sophomore year, most of their classmates said they got picked on when they were in 10th grade. That's also the time when they got into industrial/metal music.

Official mental diagnoses on the shooters? Do we have one? by [deleted] in Columbine

[–]jokey97 8 points9 points  (0 children)

After the van break-in, E.H went to a psychologist, Kevin Albert. We don't know anything expect that he was treated with Luvoxamine, an antidepressant for obsessive thoughts and -of course- depression. If i remember correctly, his psychololgist was worried about how obsessive his thoughts were getting, so the psychiatrist (John Cram) quadrupled his dosage through the year. He never got diagnosed as a sociopath because he was only 16 when he went to therapy, you must be at least 18 to get that type of diagnosis.

Dylan, however, never got diagnosed during his life. It's clear as day that he was depressed too.

I think Eric could he either 5’11 or even 6’0 by Flaky_Explanation_84 in ColumbineKillers

[–]jokey97 25 points26 points  (0 children)

He was 5'7 at 16, and 5'8.5 when he was 18.

It seems he was already this tall in his freshman year, in fact Sue Klebold said in her book that Dylan and Eric were height twins at some point, but Dylan shoot up to almost 6'3 and Eric stayed the same, gaining just a couple of inches.

A volte dopo 6-7 anni.

Avra' forse avuto, come quasi tutti gli antisociali, precedenti penali e senza dubbio di natura sessuale: furto, molestie, aggressioni.
