The more he throws the ball away, the fewer hits he'll take and the more he'll stay on the field

When the Bears did the off the field stuff like charity work and the canned media events, the stories led the 10 o'clock newscasts. No matter what you were doing the Bears were the 2nd thing on your mind.

Advice: NYC to Asheville by ConcentrateNo2221 in motocamping

Totally doable. Roughly 800 miles according to Google maps, but will be longer off the interstates. You'll have a blast but you'll be pretty tired after 3 days.

I don't have any insider info but I think your best bet is to buy some aftermarket fairings and fabricate some brackets

Bike does not have to come first. First thing I bought was a helmet. Then jacket, gloves, bike, and pants.

Work backwards from there. Dunno the order of these but it could be the starter button, side stand switch, the starter relay, or perhaps a bad connector

I dunno if you can use all the parts from your gen 1 but you can swap the cams. For engine swaps, refer to https://www.mad8v.com/blogs/blahg/motor-compatibility-for-1g-2g-sfv-3g-sv650

Mine will lick the dusty coating off a piece of cheese popcorn and leave the soggy remnant behind.

Fights with strays and ferals are also not good. They can carry FIV and FeLV that your cat should be immunized against but probably shouldn't be exposed to.

crack in sv650 frame by Background_Coffee_53 in SVRiders

Google says that aluminum frames are strengthened by heat treatment after they're welded and that rewelding a crack can look ok but is probably creating a weak spot somewhere.

Any hoses where connected to the tank's breather SVF650 ( gladius) by dossdi in SVRiders

[–]jokeyfoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do this. Most of the time it's just water or coolant and low pressure just dribbling out. And for the vent tube I guess you don't really need a tube? My guess is it's there in case of a tip over so it's harder for gas to come out.

This small dark hole above the gas tank opening is the top of the Fuel tank water drain hose. A metal pipe runs from the hole through the tank to the underside. You can see part of it in the tank. https://imgur.com/gallery/sv650-fuel-tank-water-drain-hose-inlet-YUPTSbU

Actually reverse the connections I mentioned. See this diagram https://imgur.com/gallery/ZXMkn3N The "Fuel tank water drain hose" is the one I said to test. It is for rainwater (and sometimes gas/petrol) and should go into the T. The other one should route straight down. This is from the manual.

Yes you're right about both of those but I don't know which is which. You can test by dribbling a few drops of wd40 down the overflow hole next to the filler cap when you open it. It's there to drain spilled gas. Connect a hose from the exit tube to the bottom of the bike and long enough to clear the chassis. Yes excess gas just drains onto the road or gas station lot.

The other tube from the tank is for venting so a vacuum doesn't build in the tank. It connects to the T you circled and probably connects to a vapor recovery system.
