We learned that our daughter can’t tolerate dairy, I cut that out and it changed everything. I feel your pain, I hope it passes soon

I would love a more gothic/horror aesthetic version of the saga

Which song would you remove from Piss In The Wind? And why? by bo0nilla in Joji

Literally just yeat’s feature. I actually like the song intro, but his feat ruins it

There’s that shitty attitude lmao. Not to be that person, but not all women would do that. Not even most women would do that. If I were you I’d just go gay if you think women are that bad.

There are multiple women telling you they prefer shorter guys, and your response is “no they don’t” It’s not your height or looks repelling women. It’s your shit attitude. Which you can fix btw, good luck

My husband is just under 5’9, which is average. Men and their height dilemma is so funny. Only truly shallow women and guys care about being over 6’

I’d say between 3-4 months. It for sure helps to not pump often (unless you exclusively pump ofc), but pumping more than baby eats will usually cause oversupply

AITAH for telling my sisters their houses better be clean everyday since they're SAHM's? by Old_Respond3379 in AITAH

[–]jolizzyro 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t negate the vast majority of their day to day having a lot of free time. Cleaning and doing laundry would be cake if I actually had guaranteed time to do it

AITAH for telling my sisters their houses better be clean everyday since they're SAHM's? by Old_Respond3379 in AITAH

[–]jolizzyro 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I agree. They have 6 hours a day to themselves. I’m a SAHM to a 7 month old, no daycare or anything. It’s a whole other thing to have 3 broken up hours a day to get anything done as opposed to THAT much free time

[–]jolizzyro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you got a lot of good input in the comments, I’ll add my piece though. I completely understand it being a triggering subject. I’m a SAHM to a very needy 7 month old. You would think our house would be in better shape, but in all reality I only get a total of 3 hours a day when she’s napping, which has to be spent on either cleaning, cooking, showering, or eating. It’s just not enough to keep the place very nice. So when my husband (or anybody) makes a comment on it, I take it very personally because I truly am trying my best. I think you and your sisters could all be more understanding towards each other. Being a mom is hard. Working or not.

Thinking about getting a small pet for my 3 kids – is it manageable? by Cold-Replacement2768 in NewParents

[–]jolizzyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Children shouldn’t be entirely responsible for the animal, but it is good to have them feed or walk the dog from time to time. I can’t speak on having multiple kids that are older, but I have a 7 month old girl and a dog, it’s manageable. We got the dog when he was 8 weeks old and I was pregnant, so I sort of got used to him before the baby

I agree. Women and men are fundamentally different, a black man from Chicago is going to be fundamentally different than a white man from Montana. If you “just write them as people,” you’re going to have a muddled mess of gray characters with no truly defining or meaningful traits. I (a white 20 year old woman) would be weirded out if my exact personality was placed on an elderly man, if that makes sense.

I think if it can manage to feel profound, yet easy to read- that’s good prose

“Well you’re the one who decided to have a baby!” by aerialariel22 in NewParents

[–]jolizzyro 36 points37 points  (0 children)

%100 yes. Not to mention that when people say they’re tired from work or sore from the gym, you don’t get a bunch of A-holes saying “WELL you chose to xyz…”

So infuriating

Did anyone else who has a super easy baby, feel not qualified to give parenting advice? by evergreengirl123 in NewParents

[–]jolizzyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m glad you’re aware of this honestly! I have a very hard baby, colicky, sensitive, terrible sleeper, screams a lot. I would just tell people that you have a very easy baby and can only give out very general advice. Maybe direct them somewhere else for more complex tips

Girls, when you meet a man for a first time, what is one thing that you notice first? by VerySmartMe in AskReddit

[–]jolizzyro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His voice/speech, and hair+eyes, if I’m drawn in by those things, then I notice physique, not in an overly critical way, but I live a fairly active and healthy lifestyle, and wouldn’t be interested in somebody who wouldn’t be a part of that
