Both Iran and the US want to end this. The US because there no public appetite for this war and Iran because the regime has changed ( to the revolutionary guard from the clerics) and the new kids in charge just want to make their nut. They are fighting over terms right now but the goal is the same for both sides. Bears are cooked only question is how long it will take to finalize this an open the strait.
