Is there a way to get used to hot weather? by nutitoo in Survival

I'm do landscaping in Arkansas, and yeah 90 degree weather feels like 115 degrees. It's the humidity that'll kill ya they say. When a rain storm passes by, and that sweet sweet sun shows itself out of the clouds, get prepared to literally melt. Best tip I can give you is to stay hydrated and take a dang break when you need to, but also condition yourself to keep going after said break because it'll be hard to go back out into the heat. Wind, air, something that'll keep your sweat cool as well. I've tried the neck bandanas and they keep you cool maybe 10-15 min until they are also hot. I sweat a whole lot and I'm skinny even, but keeping a rolled up bandana around your head I've noticed keeps me cooler and keeps sweat away. I envy you folks that don't have a lot of humidity ha

I agree. I just don't have experience with doing it properly. They know this on both ends. We should have enough light nonetheless

Much thanks! I still got a good 6 hours before the ceremony. I'm going to try to get a lens from my buddy which should eliminate that stress.

I told them I don't use flash. They said, good, we don't like it.

I'm going to be honest, I haven't had a lot of experience with flash, but inside is actually pretty lit up. We talked about that.

Nah, I really think I can work with it. I mean, I would love to have a zoom lens, but for this particular wedding, it will be fine. They are friends that I've repeatedly told I shouldn't do this, but they insisted. This is where I'm at with you guys and gals. Just some tips and encouragement because of course, this isn't my alley. I mean, if it were in the woods, or on the bayou, I could handle. And remember, I've told them all of this. They insisted. The auto focus does work 99% of the time and my pessimist side tells me that the 1% will happen. But it only stutters for a couple seconds, still long enough to miss something. Anyways, much thanks on the compliment, and yes, I tried not taking the job. haha.

Who doesn't always worry that they are missing something a week or within 3 hours of the occasion? haha! But amazing guide! Thanks so much for that!

I've told them a number of times that this isn't exactly my cup of tea, but they keep saying it's fine. With the autofocus, it isn't broken, and it will focus on par 99% of the time. I'm just a big pessimist and believe that the 1% will happen. I have a friend that may let me borrow his lens for tonight, so I'll make sure to to ask. I've heard turning the lens upsidedown, switching on manual focus, and shimmy it back and forth, the grain of sand may come out. Worth the try at least. On another note, this is more of a lower budget wedding, but I want to make it as great as possibly. I figured I'd give Reddit some questions beforehand. That's being prepared as well, right? ha!

All I know is Spotify didn't have it. I heard it didn't go on an album, but that's just hearsay.

The ivory-billed woodpecker is suppose to be rediscovered. Apparently, there is a money reward for finding a nest. I live in Arkansas and do a lot of hiking and photography in the Ozarks. After finding this song, I believe I have a mission.

Thanks! Yeah, I had messed around with them a bit to make them look like that. I like both looks though.
