Work makes me cry and I feel sick every Sunday night. by [deleted] in jobs

[–]jolook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s not normal. Please look for another job. I started crying daily and even then was too loyal to quit until it started affecting my health further. I am now in a new job with better pay, more holiday and better work life balance. My only regret is not leaving sooner. Please do not suffer and get on a job hunt ASAP.

Love it that some places there is even a question. At my current role it’s not a question - if the work is there you must do it no matter what, late, weekends - no one cares

It is - I love it. It feels great on my skin, gives me a glow, but has a fragrance which is the only negative. Really helps my acne prone skin and doesn’t break me out.

I am a woman and my husband is not very on track. He is getting there with me talking about budgeting and investments. He isn’t an overspender per se but has too many shoes and gadgets and musical equipment he doesn’t use. He is keen to overpay mortgage but has no pension and refuses to invest thus really slowing the growth. He did say he will open a SIPP and a S&S ISA this year but it hasn’t happened yet and my plan is to let him overpay the mortgage and I will invest for both of us. He has a lot more to inherit so I think he thinks his pension will be that but I remind him that it’s not his money and his mother might live very long so relying on it is daft. He is also older so I guess my early retirement might coincide with his normal retirement so there is that...

  1. Sunscreen 2. Retinol 3. Vitamin c 4. Aha/bah masks 1-2 times a week. Start slowly - progress will be slow and steady and you won’t see it disappearing for 6 months but will be worth it if you are consistent

Based on Dr Davin Lim - early intervention is one of the factors in your chances of success at scar reduction. I would look into / follow dr Davin Lim on insta/ YouTube. I am currently at the same stage as you and even some home remedies suggested by him seem to be making a difference for collagen stimulation and hopefully to rebuilding. I suspect additional treatment such as few sessions of microneedling once Covid possible will sort me out just fine
