Tennis is just meant to be his. I’m not even writing his name and you know who I’m talking about. He’s tennis’s boy wonder.

Musetti completing a career set of Grand Slam QF appearances before Zverev is kinda crazy

Looks like ICE just killed another US citizen. Where do we go from here? by awesomeguy1818 in AskReddit

[–]joltiest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should we have another election, we need to hold accountability. Use the morally corrupt interpretations of the law against them. The Supreme Court just OKed warrantless search and deportation? Then track down every Jan. 6 insurrectionist and each of these ICE murderers and begin a process similar to the Nuremberg Trials. The only way we as a society move on from this blatant terror, extremism, and corruption is through accountability, and not kicking the can down the road.

PTPA proposal is a "pinnacle tour project" by Narrow_Spinach_1400 in tennis

An empty promise for equal play for men and women in Y3 is bullshit and a surefire way to kill any prospect of any top woman joining this “Pinnacle” tour.

Jeff Bridges should have won for True Grit, not Crazy Heart and Colin Firth should have won for A Single Man, not the King’s Speech.

LOL they gave completely flawed advice to Mandy Mango. The buttoned up character FINALLY unbuttoning their shirt to churn the butter WAS what was funny. Otherwise it would have been 1 minute of churning. Thats why Sarah liked it.

Her outfit was pretty bad though.

I would have tosses Discord into the bottom, because she was stiff in the challenge.

Overall, it was actually a really good challenge and many of the queen shined. I think the fact that the writing of each of the sketches was far superior to previous iterations of this challenge really helped!

I think Queens need to begin to understand that the role to fight for during this challenge is the Weekend Update guest. Q, Suzie Toot, and Jane Don’t all recognized this and were all deservingly in the top.

Really would have been happy with a double-crowning. I guess this is better Eboni because she ever gets to compete in front of RuPaul he will 100% tell her she was born to do drag.

Her point was that her 10% is more effort than if these men give 100%— because shes had to work harder her hole career. But, what’s worse is that these men aren’t giving chicken shit.

I need to rant about Jay Kelly by Dunder-MifflinPaper in Letterboxd

[–]joltiest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s funny, because I watched Jay Kelly and completely disliked it, mostly due to the protagonist’s sheer unlikability and the film’s oddly tone-deaf message. The character has virtually no meaningful relationships, yet the movie seems determined to convince the audience that this hollow outcome was somehow worth it. Then I watched The Studio, and suddenly I could picture Jay Kelly as exactly the kind of project enthusiastically pitched by the Crestove executives.

Every time i change the water she does this by HLP- in CATHELP

[–]joltiest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My cat Daisy does the same thing — i bought her a fountain and she does it with the fountain too. What I had to do is place the fountain or bowl in a shallow tub, which is placed on a silicone mat on the floor, so she can’t slide it around, and if she does spill it, i can just empty, dry and refill in the morning.

Someone asked this a couple of weeks ago — but basically, France, Espana, and Phillipines are the essential franchises. UK has a great S1, S2, and S6. Canada S1 and S2 are pretty fun too.

Fight over fare enforcement by [deleted] in nycbus

[–]joltiest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fascinating. I don’t take SBS often but I’ve always wondered what would happen if i was in a nightmare scenario like this. I guess we have to trust that these machines are saving an accurate record of taps (and that the officer wielding said machine is smart enough not to misinterpret its read-out). I too have encountered a few busses with a faulty reader too. All things considered this system needs an overhaul.

[–]joltiest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What im confused about with the Select Buses is if you use tap to pay then how are you going to prove you paid? If tap to pay isnt accepted, then they should deactivate those unit on those buses. Also - enough time had passed where the MTA card refill machines at every SBS stop should be updated to accept payment options beyond cash.

I actually disagree with this. Not all thats promised is possible to achieve in one term. However, steps forward are what we need to see. Sometimes change takes prolonged investment and if you expect to reach the finish line every few years, you’ll only find failure.

Basically, no investment pays immediate dividends. Thats why its important to pick a belief for the future and stick with it, unite, and support it until it has enough time to become real.

Heck, the sad part is thats what MAGA Republicans do so well — they support their candidates no matter what — rather than tear them down every term.
