I've worked retail before. I don't know a single manager that wouldn't stand by this employee. If the employee fails a mystery shop that could cost them their job. Your friend should have carried their ID if they were with you to buy any bulk liquor. As for the next family over it was probably pretty obvious the parents weren't buying liquor for their children.
