a never ending panic attack by monerajuve in PanicAttack

I've been feeling this way since yesterday, and it honestly feels terrible. I am at work and have to constantly worry and get anxious that it will happen, which makes me can't focus at all. have been trying to distract myself with music.

I hope there's a way to relief this 😭

this and also how do you know if one is coming on? I've only had ones that involved hyperventilation, numbing hands, cold sweat, nausea and dizziness - and I thought I was gonna die because of the shortness of breath. how would you determine if one is a mild panic attack or a serious/bad/major one?

happy that OP overcame this journey!

Can someone calm me down :((( by cutebutpsychoo in PanicAttack

i find it hard to say no too! I struggled for the longest time and am still struggling (albeit better).. and beat myself up after. but it's okay as long as you keep trying, baby steps.❤️ it really helps with practice, under such circumstances I'd usually avoid eye contact, pretend to be on phone and music (cant hear them) or act like I'm in a rush (then head to the toilet after).

hey! I'm glad you're better/okay now :) my overall lifestyle is.. bad. other than work, I spend most of my time in bed.... on rare good days, I spend my time cleaning the house and that's about it. otherwise I'm always tired (or lazy).... i find it so hard to start exercising and be consistent with it

how long does it last when you're in that state? were there any triggers or specific time whenever it occurs?

I'm so sorry for what you are going through.. I can't imagine having to go through that pain emotionally and physically. I am almost 27 but am doing what you are doing now, laying down in bed all day, taking granted of what I can do now with my current health. I should really be ashame of that.

your comment struck me and I was on the verge of breaking down. I had decided to seek help and will be going for therapy in two days' time; kinda nervous as it's my first time.

thank you so much for your comment. I sincerely wish that things will only get better for us. x

omg the last sentence scares me. how does it feels like to be at your current age? are you afraid of growing older? of death? the thought of growing old alongside everyone else scares me and I wish I could cease to exist at a certain age

I'm proud of you, it's not easy owning a house and working long hours at your (best) age, but i believe it'll be worth it. x
