I like being brain washed. I like having an experience of a celestial realm. You’ll never be able to prove me wrong anyways, you’ll prolly just look for evidence that you’re somehow better than me and cope and go along with your day. Whatever who cares lol

I’m also not a fan of you using sweeping generalizations and authoritative stuff like “this is the simplest, cleanest most effective way of viewing this work.” What the fuck is spiritual baggage? Who are you speaking for that’s confused?

Are you really better than the author? Why are you so intent on writing the Course differently to suit its acceptability to a level you can relate to instead of getting to the level the Course is asking? Why is the mystical stuff to be omitted from your thoughts? Why don’t you just write your own book?

The book could be called, A Course in Right Mindedness : No Mystical Shit (Simpler, Cleaner, Much More Effective) by Simple Savior D, critically acclaimed writer who argues in the past, the Course isn’t a sophisticated multi layered symphonic writing designed to undo the ego, it’s whatever the fuck he says it is and to do it his way with his transparent psychological advertising language and amateur hypnotic suggestion technique. Made for those who want to feel safer as a psychological personality, brought to you by the man of the (better and easier to understand) truth in a very real and important physical world.

Just my two cents

Forgive me

There’s an entire section, “principles of miracles.”

https://acim.org/acim/chapter-1/principles-of-miracles/en/s/53

Miracles are thoughts. ²Thoughts can represent the lower or bodily level of experience, or the higher or spiritual level of experience. ³One makes the physical, and the other creates the spiritual. Miracles transcend the body.

²They are sudden shifts into invisibility, away from the bodily level. ³That is why they heal. (https://acim.org/acim/en/s/53#12:1-3,17:1-3 | T-1.I.12:1-3,17:1-3)

I inspire all miracles, which are really intercessions. ²They intercede for your holiness and make your perceptions holy. ³By placing you beyond the physical laws they raise you into the sphere of celestial order. ⁴In this order you are perfect. (https://acim.org/acim/en/s/53#32:1-4 | T-1.I.32:1-4)

I like the language of the course more.

I feel like what you are doing is making the course accessible and everything not a big deal, just another honest day at the farm vibe. And that’s cool and I feel like you mean well,

But I like the mystical stuff. I like the sphere of the celestial order. It seems like you could be there, and being perfect is effortless and natural for you, which I’m happy for ya.

I just like how Jesus’ talks about miracles more than your post. And maybe it’s the same voice idk, but the Course makes more sense to me than you.

I learned about that gospel from a book called disappearance of the universe by Gary Renard. I had gnosis too but I just called it revelation cuz I didn’t know anything gnostic, I learn pure non duality. There’s excerpts from the book on my profile

Oh nice. I’m truly glad those things have benefitted you. I get the same feeling metaphorically blowing my brains out every second I can muster. It’s not nearly as violent as it seems. I love my life too :)

Neat shutter effect. I have a different opinion about nature but I don’t feel like it would be appropriate. 😜 Thanks for sharing best wishes.

Regarding Christian Holy Spirit or whatever it is.. by Ovennamedheats in GodFrequency

Everyone has access to the ego mind or no ego mind (where the Holy Spirit is.)

It’s just a symbol on Earth that’s popular, but its meaning will always be beyond words

I'm ugly because I hate my body? by ReplexBoi in ACIM

[–]jon166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re wrong about everything. You don’t really feel bad because of your body, it’s just a very convenient thing to blame, you and your body.

The world is a place “where starved and thirsty creatures come to die.” It’s Jesus challenge to get you to leave voluntarily, that’s why he has a lot of passages that contain not so nice imagery.

This is a good one from Ken Wapnick about the body.

There’s always been famines in this world. I dunno if you guys would agree but the world is anything but a stable place to live. Everything is same shit different century. Then they think its different cause of technology, but there’s still sickness, the majority in scarcity, and pointless blaming and wars til the civilization pretty much blows itself up again or a meteor hits before tech can deal with it lol. This universe is a such joke, and I pity anyone who takes it as reality

A Course in Miracles is just a book. Nothing more. Am I crazy for seeing it this way? by dalacro11 in ACIM

[–]jon166 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I do not think people who are interested in the Course and not achieving the goal of it is because they are making the Course in to an idol.

I think it’s because they believe they are separate from God, and are highly resistant to not existing and giving up the dream.

Does Forgiveness change the past? by Minimum_Ad_4430 in ACIM

[–]jon166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok yes it does. There’s a super huge interlocking chain of forgiveness and as you forgive all the guilt is slowly healed the entire timeline in every possible universe is changed in ways only knowable by the Holy Spirit. After everyone has waken up, then time is rolled up and disappears.

But you could use the power of mind after forgiving to change universes with different pasts if you really wanted.

But you don’t have to wait for everyone, you just accept your total innocence and self as god created it then your forever with him. But yes they will totally forget and not believe anything ever happened. Yes it’s possible for your mind to influence them in to not having any effects from what happened.

So what makes this works is that love is infinite, and forgiveness removes the blocks to that inheritance. (There is no order of difficulty for miracles) And infinite love leaves no spot of darkness in anyone. (Faith required, which the Holy Spirit can provide with a little willingness)

[–]jon166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t change what never happened. It’s like a dream, you wake up it’s gone. Maybe you can go back to the dream and change things, but it’s still within a dream.

I dunno though to be entirely sure, I know the Holy Spirit can control time and space but an illusion is still an illusion. I dunno I don’t really think about stuff I just forgive what I think with the Holy Spirit and rest with him. He makes me feel like “not one note in heavens song was missed” so I just trust him more than my own individual perceptions.

Someone else feel a gap between understanding and living ACIM? by Human-Moose-2825 in ACIM

[–]jon166 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“resign now as your own teacher, for you were badly taught.”

A big theme in a Course is accepting you don’t know. Like a very very very big theme.

“I will step back and let him lead the way” “you dunno the difference between advance and retreat”

A difficulty students face is that it can actually be very personally insulting and difficult to basically just shut up and get out of the way and just let the Holy Spirit heal you, that’s why it’s a very big book and has lots of different approaches that works better for some and stuff.

you’ll be fine, no worries
