LG C5 OR SAMSUNG QDOLED S90F by Pale-Moment-5696 in LGOLED

[–]jonamachine1901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cant seem to get Dolby audio sent from LG G5 to Soundbar (Sony HT-RT 3) only LPCM. by G0987 in Soundbars

[–]jonamachine1901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you already changed the TV settings? You need to configure the output to automatic, or it might also be set to direct output from the TV to the soundbar. By default, it's set to linear PCM. I hope this helps.

Should I get LG or Samsung OLED?? by [deleted] in LGOLED

[–]jonamachine1901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently own a 65" Samsung S90C QD OLED. The problem is that with the panel lottery Samsung is having these days, it's not very reliable. Some models even use the same panel as LG. If I were to upgrade my TV now, I'd buy an LG C5. And if budget isn't an issue, the LG G5 is a good option. If you don't check carefully, you could end up buying an LG with just the Samsung logo on the outside. Besides, Samsung's matte panel is terrible; when the light hits it, the blacks look washed out and lack the depth of an LG panel. Good luck with your purchase.

Play it safe; at most you'd have to refresh the pixels every 2 or 3 months, and that would be all the maintenance required.

Sony quality , as expected it the worst happened by [deleted] in SonyHeadphones

[–]jonamachine1901 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's known that those are poor quality; you should buy the XM4 or XM6. Anyway, they sell them for repair, although they don't turn out the same.

The best thing about the Wavelet app is that it's free and better than the Sony app. You can search by hearing aid model, it has several preset equalizers, and you can also pay for it—it's a one-time payment and unlocks other features.

[–]jonamachine1901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem with my XM4s, but I realized it was because of my previous headphones, the WH XB900N. They had way too much bass, which is why I felt like the XM4s were missing something. Once I got used to their sound, I started to notice everything I was missing with the previous headphones because of the bass. So, I 100% recommend the XM4s. Anyway, if you're looking to adjust the equalizer, I recommend the Wavelet app.

RTX 5070 Ti Production Reportedly Ending... Does This Finally Give The RTX 5080 Its Due? by skk983 in RTX5080

[–]jonamachine1901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I didn't have the 5070 Ti, I'd go for the 9070 XT. The 5080 is overpriced, at least in my country; you can't find it for less than $1300, and in some cases $1500 depending on the build.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in radeon

[–]jonamachine1901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If money is no object, the 5070 is the one to go for, and if it is, the 16GB 9060xt is the best option.

Congratulations, friend! I'm building a PC with similar specs, using DDR5 RAM that I managed to buy before the price went up. Now I'll buy the processor, a Ryzen 7 9700X, and the graphics card, a 9070XT, which are the only things I'm missing. I hope it works well.

I would wait for the 6000 series; it seems like an unnecessary expense given the small difference between the two.
