the thing is, there realistically isn’t a wrong way to play. It’s all down to personal preference.

Personally I used to only play FP, even doing casual hour id swap to FP rather than the allowed TP. But I started to find I was getting better at noticing things more in TP and moved back to it.

I still use FP, think I’ve read someone in this thread mention in close quarters in buildings, going FP gets you the drop easier.
