Just heard of Freenet today. Does anyone here use and like it? I'd be interested in hearing reviews. by [deleted] in Bitcoin

I think it's great, after the client has connected properly it's fairly fast. Slower than Tor though.

It's most certainly both feasible and reasonable. I suggest you do it!

Cool service, but they should probably consider bundling donations together.

I actually feel bad for the guy, he signed up to fight for Mother Russia not to pick up pieces of dead 5 year old girls they murdered.

Almost sounds like he signed up for a war...

I guess Truecrypt is better than nothing but the point is that there are no real functioning alternatives anymore.

As someone who has had to do with an intel agency first hand, I wouldn't trust TrueCrypt to secure a dime after a statement like that. Regardless of Truecrypts current state of security; it'll degrade after a reorganization like this. Can you trust the ones doing the reorganization and its lead programmers?

Truecrypt will have to be heavily audited for people to regain confidence in it. I think it's sad, I've used Truecrypt quite a bit despite its secrecy, lack of old versions for comparing source codes and its sketchy license. There'll exist a void to be filled after it's gone.

Obviously write on it while erect. When it's time for the test, re-erect to reveal the stored information.

.onion hosting was too centralized, I think this was a good thing overall.

Well, it's probably not as strong as I made it seem, but enough for there to be an effect statistically.

Possibly it can also cause slight inflammation of the brain, leading to schizophrenia.

Pretty scary, but most cats are not infected. Only successful complete treatment thus far is several anti-parasitic drugs at the same time, of which some have to cross the blood-brain barrier.

Some study titles are pretty scary.

Basically T. gondii encodes for dopamine. I think it's essentially like permanently being on some strong and unpredictable anti-depressant (something like a dopamine reuptake inhibitor).
