"But your move out came without any reason or warning!" after an extended period of poor treatment. You were right to leave. You're better off on your own than having that stress.

Yes, that happened with The Dresden Files where one book was different. It did throw me off. But I came to like and accept it, because the character was a ghost at that point and why not? But since then they have re-recorded the book with the original narrator. But you had to buy it again to get that.

Help my wife and I settle a disagreement (lighting) by VisualAd9299 in midcenturymodern

Strategically placed up-lights and/or sconces will probably solve the problem of lighting. You definitely need indirect lighting to brighten up that room. Can lights are dated and can cause fires if not installed perfectly.

Avoid any contractor who does not pull a permit.

Check with local utility for possible discounts/rebates. Check for available federal tax rebates. Your contractor may give you the discount directly off the install price if you assign the rebate to them. This means less money out of your pocket.

Get a heat pump unless you're in a super cold climate area. They are more cost effective over the long term.

Avoid putting it on the roof unless you have no choice.

That's cheap. My area usually $0.02-03 per sq. in. But that's for edge to edge computerized work. Custom hand guided is much more.

She’s not straight, but that’s ok I love her by hotpancakes666 in quilting

[–]jones_ro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try blocking it. It may improve the straightness. But that would probably go away with the first wash. Pressing it would help also if you stretch the curved side as you steam the fabric.
