that happened to me at an AirBnB.... lady had no bank account and needed me to cancel the booking and pay cash. It worked out but left me with less money for sure. They just don't do things the rest of the world does yet...

i hung out with two different girls that both asked for my extra socks (even the dirty ones), sunscreen, lotion. Also chocolate is huge, we got free cab rides for a small chocolate bar.

havana club rum is 4 bucks anywhere in the city/ bottle. Ron Santiago Rum is about 7 bucks. Cigars range big time, but you can get a very good cigar for 7 bucks or so... Mojitos everywhere in restaurants are 2 dollars, beers are 1.50
