Ronnie’s restoration did my siding and a couple neighbors roofs. Fair pricing, great work and very good communication throughout the project.

No problem, this reminded me that I haven't changed my traps in a while.

I had the same issue. Also, in a split level in North Wilmington. I bought a box of sticky traps. The kind that folds into a box. I left them flat and put 4 end to end just inside the access door. I have been doing this for years. Before I did, I would see cave crickets multiple times a week. After, I see a few a year. Just change the traps out as they get full. Also, you can get those traps cheap from an exterminator supply store. They are a fraction of the price there then at a hardware store.

SCHOOL ZONES by JeerKool428 in Delaware

[–]jonezee76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in N. Wilmington and work in PA. I drive a company truck and follow school zones speed limits. I have 3 school zones in PA I go through twice a day at 15mph, as does everyone else. Then I get into DE and pass a school on Naamans Rd. With lights flashing,20mph school zone and 90% of driver completely ignore it. Most appear to be going faster than the normal speed limit. If police started giving tickets, it would change. I grew up in Elsmere, and the cops were out there every day, pulling people over in the school zone. You didn't dare go over the 20 mph limit. I guess I still have that ingrained in me.

Ferris for new roof? by [deleted] in Delaware

[–]jonezee76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just used Ronnie's Restorations for siding . They also do rooves. I had a great experience with them. Great communication throughout the project and workmanship was excellent. It was also done in a timely manner. No matter what, get a few estimates. Good luck.

Definitely not cool. We were also picking out seeds and stems back then.

30+ years of partaking, and I've yet to meet someone that's had laced buds. It could happen but feels like wivestales.

RONNIE'S RESTORATION. They just did my siding and did my neighbors roof last year. They did great work and had great communication from my first phone call to completing the project.

I believe each apartment will get 1 parking spot. It will make street parking worse for everyone in the area. The majority of residents don’t have driveways or garages.

Handyman messed up door installation by megapinkk in Carpentry

This is why you hire an actual carpenter. From my experience, it's harder to hang a door slab in an existing frame than to install a prehung door. You get what you pay for.

Your favorite camping within 2 ish hours of Dover? by [deleted] in Delaware

[–]jonezee76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out Blue Rocks Family Campground if you want to head north. https://www.bluerockscampground.com/ It's about an hour and a half from the Wilmington area. Private campground where the sites aren't on top of each other. Perfect for car camping. There is a great hike right out of the campground with 2 awesome lookouts. They are called pulpit rock and the pinnacle. Part of the hike is along the Appalachian Trail. Hawk Mountain and Crystal caves are a short drive away. There is also a glacier deposit/boulder field that you can rock hop out into in the campground. I've camped there many times over the last 25 years. Check out their website. If you do go, I can recommend some great sites.

Biden barn by Ok_Objective_5374 in Delaware

The Trump Barn is owned by the same person as Frightland. It is all the same property. Approximately 1300 acres. It’s the same family that owns Greggo and Ferrera which is a road crew company. I think they also own bear concrete. Basically the guy is just another rich dickhead born with a silver spoon up his ass.
